Saturday Walk

Yesterday, Hubby and I decided to leave our car in the car park and took our kids out by public transport. This was the first time in 2009, we rode on a bus and MRT. I'm glad that we made that decision. I do not want my children to rely too much on our own vehicle. I want them to experience how it feels like to stand in a crowded MRT. Nevertheless, they enjoyed the MRT ride.

We walked a lot yesterday. I mean really really walk. We walked almost three quarter of our journey which started at 10.30 a.m and reached home at 7.00pm.

Home. Feeder Bus. MRT to Lavender. ICA. MRT to Bugis. Lunch. Walk to Masjid Sultan. Walk to MRT Bugis. City Hall MRT. Walk to Esplanade. Walk. Walk. Walk. Eat ice-cream. Walk to Merlion. Walk to City Hall MRT. Somerset MRT. Walk to Masjid Al-Falah. Early dinner. Walk to Somerset MRT. Woodlands MRT. Feeder Bus. Home.








Now my feet are aching.

Masjidil Haram & Millions Of Jemaah

The journey from Hotel Zam Zam Suites to Masjidil Haram is only about 3 minutes. But with millions of Muslims in Mecca during the Hajj, it took so much longer than that. I felt like an ant walking among them, trying to reach my destination.
