HERE I AM

Time passed very fast when you have loads of things to do. Alhamdullillah, I managed to steal some of the time to update. I kind of miss this blogging things, tagging my fellow bloggers and wonder if I've been missed...I doubt so...*He He He*

For a start, Afrina just completed her final exam. She seemed to take it easy, maybe too easy that it made me worried. But she had the confidence that she could do it and I was hoping she pass with good grades. Maybe my expectations were too high, but aren't all mothers are like that?

I had also been training her to fast in Ramadhan. I did not wake her up for sahur, but gave a glass of milk everyday before going to school in the morning. This fasting month, her school did not serve drinks and foods as usual. Maybe they are training the students to fast too. So far, she can fast up to 3 pm. One of the days, she even cried and begged me for some food. Pitiful right? Hubby and me kept praising her each day she fast. Hopefully by next Ramadhan, she can fast for the whole day. Insya'Allah.

Actually, I have an agenda for this Ramadhan. In fact, I have 4 task to complete. There are :-

1) My newfound hobby - COMPLETED!!! (Alhamdullillah)

2) To alter my girls baju kurungs for hari raya (3 suits for each girl, that will be 6 suits to alter...mak oiii!!!) - Me the "kiasu" mother, bought them few months ago cause it's so cheap. I don't think I could get the same price now. I purposely bought 1 size bigger so they can wear for a long time. Anyway, baju kurungs is never out of date fashion.

3) Another hobby...not sure can fulfill or not.

4) To bake some cookies and cakes for hari raya. - This is a sad story. I have an oven which I can't remember when was the last time I used it. Years maybe. So one day, I thought of making pizza for iftar. So you see, I just need to warm up the oven and my pizza would be ready soon. But....when I turned on the oven, power tripped occurred! Not once but twice!!! So hubby said, forget about using the oven. He will look into in IF he got the time. There goes my pizza...it's still in the fridge waiting for the oven. So, my plan to bake cookies and cakes remain as a plan. To my lovely cousins, ada niat nak donate kuih ke kek kat Ummi?

All the task above does not include the daily housework and also the extra cleaning of the house for Hari Raya. But the best thing, we have painted half of our living room. Yes, I said half of our living room. I mean only certain walls were painted.Tak larat nak paint satu living room mak oiii!!! Even though we have two extra helpers....

dorang ni pengacau sebenarnye.....

So now, I'm going to visit each and every bloggers on my list. See what I have missed. Wah...I think I got a lot to catch up!

GOODBYE...FOR NOW....

Salam to all my dear bloggers....

I'm taking a short break from the blogging world. I would like to concentrate on my daughter, Afrina, as she will having her final exam very soon. I'm beginning to feel the pressure. And also because, tonight is the starting of Ramadhan and we begin our tarawih prayer. So I would like to cut down my time facing the PC. I also wish to concentrate on my newfound "hobby", which I hope to complete before Syawal. So you see, my time will be fully occupied. Not to forget, looking after my 3 super active children in this fasting month would be the greatest test for me.

But please do keep in touch. Please continue your tagging, commenting and emails. I will definitely visit all of you on my free time, hopefully I can find one. I will remember each of you in my heart.

May this Ramadhan month brings joy and Nur into our lives. May Allah rewards us His blessings and forgiveness...Amin....

Till we meet again......

Your friend,

Rina aka Mrsbeki

KO or OK???

I was very nervous actually on Sunday. My Parent-In Laws brought my two girls to their friend's house and I was alone with Affandy as hubby was not around too. I got to cook peacefully and prepared the table for the guests to come.

Then noon came and my PIL came back with my girls. As they were waiting for my BIL to fetch them, they rested in one of the rooms. Linda reached my house first, followed by Hunny (err.. excuse me, are u a model, he he he) with Babyhulk (he is so CUTE, but he didn't want to look at me... :( ) and Th0ts (u tembam like my Afiqah, no wonder Afiqah likes you *wink*). BabyHD with Danial (Affandy's handsome buddy) and sweet, demure Ramblerine came next (thank you so much for the gift dear, I love it so much. After reading it, the pain of giving birth like nothing at all). Then came our star....Miss Sexy Elmo!!! (Phweet!!!)

Look at the foods on the table.....

These did not include the cream puff by Elmo and the Ice-Cream by Th0ts. I kept asking the girls to help themselves with another serving. While we were having our fun conversation, little Affandy get cranky as it was time for his "memek". I excused myself and let the girls continue the fun.

One by one left, and my lovely cousins help out on the cleaning up (habis u all tapau eh, nasib baik ada ice-cream untuk I... *stick out tongue*). I did snap some pictures but should I publish it here...let me think about it eh..hah hah hah *evil laugh*. I really hope I could talk more with the girls but it seems that I was almost speechless. This was the first time gathering and I hope the next would be even better. I apologize if I was not being a good host and if my cooking was not that yummy. Nevertheless, I was elated to meet all of you and the babies. Thank you for making my day!

TAI TAI LUNCH

Yesterday was such a FUN!!! I meet with the rest of bloggers for the first time. When I reached Cavana about 2.15 pm, Salina, Mummy Jam, Fiqkir and Kuntum were already there. They were busy arranging the tables. I was too shy to start a conversation, so I just smiled.

After a while, the rest of the gang arrived. There's Shimah, Ainn, Lyana, Zurynee and of course, Phantommomma, Yati and Bulan. Phantommomma brought along her tiny little Nadiyah and Firdaus. Nadiyah, Afiqah and Afrina became friends instantly.

Since this was my first time meeting them, I was rather quiet, I think. Maybe if I meet them again, I can be a little bubbly, I hope. Afiqah really got on my nerves yesterday. She was such a big bully to little Erynn (Ainn's girl). She persistently wanted to hold Erynn's hand. But I think Erynn was scared of her. She made a scene by lying on the floor at Metro and wailing out loud. I was so embarrassed and quickly carried Afiqah out. *Sigh*

Too bad I couldn't stay longer with the rest as I got to send Afrina to her "Ngaji" class in the evening. I really hope I could meet up with them again. A big thanks to Lyana for her efficiency in organizing this "get-together" lunch.

By the way, I brought my digicam along but did not shoot much photos. Too busy with the kids. Just a few here to share....

Affandy and Afiqah waiting for their foods

The "Instant Friends" - Nadiyah and Afiqah

The "Not So Instant" Friends - Firdaus and Affandy

The gorgeous boy, Firdaus!!!

As I'm writing this, I'm feeling very excited and nervous. Insya'Allah, later at 2.00 pm, I'll be meeting a group of mummies' bloggers at Causeway Point. This is organized by Lyana. I wonder how she do it to group about 14 mummies to meet up. She is so efficient!!!

For those who don't know me, I am a shy person by nature. But once you get to know me better, I can be bubbly and loving. Meeting these new friends without knowing them and wonder how they look like, really make me nervous. Butterflies churning in my stomach. I might know some of them through blogging.

Later this Sunday, a group of bloggers will gather at my house. This will also make me nervous even though I'm the host. I like the way they call me "Ummi", makes us more closer affectionately. They are just like my younger sisters which I never had. So girls (you know who you are)...ready for some fun this Sunday???

I entered my girls' room that day, I saw this pasted on Afrina's drawer....

So sweet..... It really makes my day!! I love you too, Afrina.

I went to the market this morning and found the price of eggs has gone down to $3.00 for 10. Since it has been more than two months we didn't get to eat eggs in this house, I bought it. I cooked Sambal Tumis Telur + Udang today.

I just need to eat more eggs today. So I made this....

Sardine Egg Toast

I was expecting a guest this afternoon but she could not make it. So it's all for us to finish it!!
Yesterday was hubby's last day of reservist. He brought home three sports shoes from his camp. Suprisingly, one is for me!

He said this is the smallest size that he could find. All these shoes are compliments from the Army. Not bad huh! These reservists men didn't do much (true right?) but yet they get all these freebies. I'm glad he brought home one for me as my old sports shoes kind of worn out. So..I'm ready to jog, anyone care to join me?

DRIVER LOVE

Affandy could not sit still in the back seat of our car with me. Cause...this is where he wanted to sit....

"Are you ready to go Ummi? Please fasten your seatbelt."

"Here we go....Errr..which gear ah?"

Not the time yet Affandy. LEARN FROM THE BOSS....

LUCKY ONE

How often can you be so lucky in winning a lucky draw? Well...its my turn to be lucky. Even though the prize won was not that interesting but better than nothing right? I won from my favourite magazine which I never miss reading it every month.

I participated in this contest in February, now then they announced the lucky winners.

This is what I won.....

The prize comprising of Iron and Vitamin C, Antioxidant and Women' Folic Acid. All these things can pass to hubby to finish it off, except the Folic Acid lah. Furthermore, he will the one to collect the prize on my behalf.

I asked my MIL's help to look after Afiqah for today as I need to send Affandy for his 15-months injection. MIL fetched Afiqah yesterday and she supposed to send back by today. It seems that she is not free to send today, so Afiqah will stay with her for another night. Miss her so much already!

I sent Affandy for his jab this morning at Woodlands Polyclinic. Normally I have hubby to accompany, but today, I was on my own. Dear hubby got to serve and defend his country for almost two weeks. "I'm proud of you hubby, you're my hero!" Miss him so much also!

Back to this morning, I took cabs to and fro. With a boy to carry and a stroller, how to take bus? Before the injection, Affandy could not keep still. He walked here and there, climbed up and down the chairs, he even messed up the nurse's table. But after the jab, there goes the super-active boy. He cried for a while and later doze off. The nurse said he would have fever between 5 days to 2 weeks time. Oh..oh. Affandy seldom got sick. But if he falls sick, he would be very grouchy and cranky. He would cling to me all day and night. And I couldn't do other things as he only wanted to have "memek". Being his ummi, he only wants mine. For those who do not know what "memek" is, do not ask me! Try to find out yourself.

The nurse also said that Affandy is a little bit light and underweight. She even asked me if I give him eat. Of course I did, how could I let my boy starved! She suggested that I supplement him with formula milk. Does this mean that my milk is not good enough for him? In fact, I did give him formula milk once in a while. But he would only bite the bottle's teat and poured out the milk. So, how else can I make him to have "normal" weight?

I've been very busy lately to update. In less than a month, Afrina will be having her final year exam. The one who is being paranoid and stress is me, I guess. I do not want to pressure her too much and sometimes I just can't help it. And she is just in K1! What would happen if she is in P1? Pressure....pressure.....

Last Saturday, me and the kids went out with my cousin, Linda and her mum. It was really fun. We had lunch at this restaurant called Cafe Viencia (I think so...). I could see in Linda's face that the food were not that yummy. I had to force myself to finish the whole plate of spaghetti. We were really disappointed with the food there even though the service was good. Well...it seemed that we were the only customer there.

We walked around Orchard Road and we were supposed to scout for our hubbies' birthday gifts. I have decided on one but Linda still looking. Too bad girl, I've got mine..ha ha ha!

Since we have been in Orchard Road since afternoon, everyone was getting tired. I called up my hubby and I asked him if he would like to pick us up. Of course, being such a darling and sweet hubby, he would definitely said yes. He he he...syioknye!

We send Linda and my aunt back, then we ate our dinner around the neighbourhood coffee shop. Driving back from the East to the North was such a long journey, for the kids. Even after parking our car, this little chubby girl was still in her sweet dreams. I managed to snap her picture and when I showed to her, she was unhappy! Maybe to her, the photo of hers is not presentable but to us, it would definitely make us smile. By the way, hubby got to carry her all the way from the car park to our house. Upon reaching home as usual, she woke up!

Look at her.....

Friday, September 24, 2004

Yesterday I had a long chat with my late cousin's wife. I could not control my tears upon hearing her soft voice. This was the voice of a lady who had just lost her husband due to cancer and left behind four small children. This was the voice of a lady who everyone taught was so strong but only Allah knows what's on her mind.

I wanted to call her for a long time since my cousin passed on, but I was not sure what to say and when was the right time. BabyHD said her sister-in-law would surely welcome any calls made me hesitate no more. I just got to do it and I did. She was so touched that I called and we just cried a while without saying anything. She told me she missed her husband badly. I told her please be strong and let him go. She is trying very hard to conceal her emotion as she did not want her children to see her cry. It hurts her when her children kept asking about their father and she told them to remember all the sweet memories with him and to pray for their father's soul. May Allah give her strength to carry on.....

Before we end our conversation, I told her that I really hope our silaturahim will never end even my late cousin has gone. That was what she hoping too. To her, seeing and talking to her husband's families and relatives was like....a cure for her pain. When she looked at us, she saw her late husband in us as we are his flesh and blood. I can feel that she is lonely even with the laughter of the kids filled the house. She needs someone to talk to and to give her moral support. I promise that I will be there for her if she ever need me.

CLOSE SHAVE

Affandy had a hair cut last week. His hair grew very fast. We have to trim his hair every two months.

He would always cry and struggle when hubby shaved his hair using the hair trimmer machine (is that what they call it?). He felt so uncomfortable when the thing touched his head. Maybe he hates the vibrating motion of the thing.

As he could not keep still, he had two 'petaks' at the back of his head.

It is so obvious. But his hair would grow very fast and it will covered in no time.

Smile to everyone Affandy......

Woik! Don't do that Affandy!

TAKE PICTURE! TAKE PICTURE!

My birthday gift from my dear hubby....

It's been a long time I've been dreaming to owe one. Alhamdulillah, I got it now.

"Thank you so much dear for the lovely gift. And thank you for loving me as what I am. Your love I will treasure most for the rest of my life. I love you...."

WHAZZUP WIF TODAY!!!

Age is nothing but a number! Who cares what the calendar says, with an upbeat attitude, you can be as young as you feel. Woman today can look great in their thirties because it's the attitude to life that matters, not your chronological age!

"You're only as young as you feel" is a saying with a lot of truth to it. How you feel on the inside is reflected in your appearance. There's also a saying, "the older you get, the wiser you are". But you have to figure out yourself, which part of you are getting wiser. As for me....I'm trying to figure out myself or am I lost somewhere?

Yes, today I am a year older. Alhamdulillah, I am very thankful and grateful to Allah. I just feel that as years go by, birthday is just like any other day. But I feel happy if people remember my birthday, it shows that they care. It's the thoughts that counts.

I spent my birthday with my love ones. I think the ones who are the excited most are my children. Birthday is a great deal to them. Hubby brought us to lunch at Swensen's. Eating ice-creams at Swensen's is a MUST! Look at the girls...

I got mine too...ice-cream compliments from Swensen's specially for birthday lady (and thanks to Mahd for the information)

And this is my birthday lunch...

After lunch, we walked around Causeway Point to look for my present. Hubby got a few things on his mind and he let me choose. I have decided on one but the price is EXPENSIVE. I told him to try to survey at other places so we could compare prices. I am not going to reveal the present until I have receive it. Geeee...I'm so excited!

I have a wonderful time spending my birthday with my family. And thank you for all the best wishes from my relatives and friends.

Love life, love yourself and life couldn't be better!

KIDS' TALK

Yesterday, the rain poured heavily. But that did not stop me from going to my friend's house, Kak Gee. I brought all my kids along while hubby drove us there.

My friend has a 7 years old son, Hakim. He is so good looking and very friendly towards my girls. Afrina was playing playdoh with him. Suddenly their conversation caught my attention.

Afrina : Kita buat cincin untuk Hakim. Cantik tak?
Hakim : Ayooo...mana lelaki boleh pakai cincin!
Afrina : Boleh! Abah kita pakai cincin. Sebab dia dah married dengan Ummi kita.
Hakim : OKlah. Abe kita belum married dengan Ummi awak, mana kita boleh pakai cincin?
Afrina : Takpelah, pakai bedek-bedek aje. Cuma orang dah married aje pakai cincin betul-betul.

I couldn't help myself from laughing. Where did she get the idea that only married couples can wear rings? I don't remember telling her that. Maybe she observed that me and hubby have our wedding bands on our fingers. Kids these days.......

SHORT TRIP

During the school holidays, we went to Port Dickson for a short trip. We stayed at Guoman Resort for 2 nights. Hubby drove all the way there. It was about 4 hours drive from Singapore.

At Port Dickson, I found nothing interesting in particular. Port Dickson is just a small town in Negeri Sembilan. But the resort that we were staying was not a bad choice. The atmosphere was very relaxing and they have a beautiful swimming pool.

My children enjoyed the most as they got the opportunity to swim for 2 consecutive days. Me and hubby got no choice but to join them. It was fun actually as we got the pool almost to ourselves. It was not a peak season so not many guests around.

Here's the pictures of my 3 little "swimmers".....

After a couple of rounds, someone doze off....

We continue to have fun in the pool, while we let him being lullabyed by the cool water.

We drove back to Singapore on Thursday. Upon returned home, the house chores were waiting for me. Got two bags of dirty laundries to clear. But the short trip somehow made me relax and I was grateful that I could spend quality time together. Looking forward to the December holidays.....where should we go?

WHAT A WEEK!

I've been trying to update my blog for the past week, but to no avail. There was no cursor at my Compose pane. It was so frustating!! After adjusting all the settings...it works!!! Now I'm back......

Thank you to all my fellow bloggers for your concern. I still sad for the departure of my cousin brother. My heart goes to his family, especially my dear aunt. I really hope everything will go well for all of them.

Since I have just being recovered from this blogging frustation, I can't write much today. But..I will be back soon....WATCH OUT!!!

AL-FATEHA UNTUK ALMARHUM MD KHIR BIN JOHARI

Today I've lost my dear cousin brother. He passed on right after Subuh at hospital. I received the bad news from my cousin sister, Ella.

For the past three months, he suffered from cancer which has spread to his lungs. His stage was critical and there's nothing much the doctors could do. Yet he and his family did not give up hope. But Allah love him more. He passed away peacefully. He left behind his dear wife and 4 beautiful children. They are so young. I couldn't hold my tears when I looked at them. But I am proud of his wife. She is such a strong woman as she somehow knew this was expected to happen. She was prepared for it. There's nothing much I could say to her when I hugged her just now. But I knew she need the moral support and I would be right there for her.

To my dear cousin, BabyHD, you have to be strong too. You have to "redha" and let him go to his destination. Life has to go on dear. I'm here for you if you need me, you know that. We have gone through so much together and I know you are a strong person. Let us pray May Allah grant your brother forgiveness, bless his soul and give him the highest of Jannah. I pray that may Allah give you and your family courage and strength. And may Allah protect his wife and chilren. Ameen.....

Wednesday, September 01, 2004

Today I visited my friend, who has just lost her dear father. It's been quite sometime since I last met her. I started to know her from Cyberibu, which we only communicate in the forum.

I used to have problems in breastfeeding my children and I turned to her for advise. She gave me useful tips and encouragement. I realized that it's not easy to fully breastfeed your child without moral support and encouragement. I almost give up. This was where I turned to her for help. I took her advise and I have successfully breastfeed my son till now.

I met her for the first time during a swimming class organized by Cyberibu. I was happy to see her. We become friends from that moment and we used to chat on the internet once in a while. But I wish we can become closer friends.

I might not understand what she has been through right now. But I know it's painful to lost someone you love most. The sorrow and grief which you have to endure. After seeing her today, I knew right away that she is strong person. May she always remain strong. May Allah bless her father's soul and grant him forgiveness. Amin....

Today is my lazy day. I am lazy to iron a basket full of clothes, I am lazy to fold a pile of clothing, I am lazy to do that, I am lazy to do this etc... I did everything today reluctantly.

What happen to me? This is unlike me at all! What do I need to boost my energy and spirit? Who can help me to bring myself back? Where is the real "mrsbeki" who is full of enthusiasm in life? Has my self-esteem gone zero? Questions..questions..questions...

Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day....*sigh*...

Monday, August 30, 2004

I went shopping with my cousins last week at Causeway Point. After browsing and looked around, I decided on this....

It's a sling bag and a wallet.

This sling bag comes handy when I go to market or outings. I can put my handphone, wallet, keys and tissue in it. It's not easy to go to market pushing Affandy in a stroller and holds Afiqah's hand. So with this bag, I don't have to carry a handbag anymore. My cousin said this bag is for bus conductor who collect bus fare from passengers. Woikk!!

My cousins also laughed hard at me when they saw I took out my cards bundled in a hair band. Pathetic right??!! Well...I did not have a wallet that time cause the previous one has torn. They advised that it's not good to carry all those cards like that as the magnetic may scratch and thus spoil the cards. So it's high time I got a new wallet. It's not branded or expensive as I don't have the luxury to buy branded goods anymore. Budget beb!! I guess these bags will do so I don't have to bundle my cards in a hair band anymore!!!

DOA SEORANG SAUDARA

(Khas Buat Md Khir Bin Johari)

Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku,
Engkaulah yang Maha Pengasih lagi Penyayang
Engkaulah yang Maha Agung dan Maha Besar

Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku,
Terimalah doa dari hambaMu yang hina ini
Kabulkanlah doa insan yang daif ini
Sesungguhnya Engkaulah yang menentukan segalanya

Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku, aku bermohon kepadaMu
Engkau kuatkanlah iman saudaraku
Engkau tabahkanlah hatinya menghadapi dugaanMu
Engkau kurangkanlah azabMu terhadapnya
Engkau sembuhkanlah penyakit yang dihidapinya
Dan engkau ampunkanlah dosa-dosanya, Ya Allah...

Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku,
Kasihanilah dirinya yang dalam kesakitan
Kasihanilah isterinya yang dalam kesedihan
Kasihanilah anak-anaknya yang dalam kerinduan
Kasihanilah ibunya yang dalam kepasrahan

Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku,
Berikanlah dia kesempatan mengecap kebahagiaan
Kembalikanlah dirinya dalam keceriaan
Pulangkanlah dirinya ke pangkuan keluarga yang menanti
Agar dia dapat membelai anak-anak yang dirindui

Ya Allah Ya Tuhan ku,
Engkau murahkanlah rezeki mereka
Lapangkanlah kesempitan mereka
Teguhkanlah ketaqwaan mereka
Semoga iman mereka tetap kukuh dijalanMu

Hanya Engkau yang Maha Mengetahui
Apa hikmah di sebalik cubaan ini
Apa kesudahan di sebalik dugaan ini
Segala apa yang telah Engkau takdirkan,
Segala apa yang telah Engkau catitkan,
Aku berdoa semoga mereka redha....
Curahkanlah kasih sayang Mu pada mereka, Ya Allah...
Limpahkanlah rahmat, taufik dan hidayahMu, Ya Allah
Khususnya untuk.....saudaraku

Hanya Engkau Yang Maha Pemurah, Pengasih lagi Penyayang.....

Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin....

I was in the mood of spring cleaning. Been busy cleaning the house and rearranged the furniture. Look at this....

Where are my dining chairs? I dumped them in the study room to prevent Affandy from climbing on the table. So far, he had fell twice from the table. Benjol kepala dia!!! So before anything serious happen, I put away the chairs.

Sunday, August 22, 2004

This was the best part. Me and the kids got free lunch at Swensen's! Yummy! My "weird" but beautiful cousin, Linda , gave us a treat. 3 other cousins, BabyHD , Lia Neng and Ainn also joined us. Not to forget my dear aunt who also tagged along. This was supposed to be a "cousins and the kids" outing, but having a makcik around did not lessen the fun.

It's not easy to gather all of us, as all lead their own life. BabyHD is a busy working mum with a son, Harith Danial, same age as Affandy. Lia Neng is also a working mum with a 4 year old Dani Irfan. I guess she's also busy making another baby *wink to Neng*. Ainn, a very quiet, simple and adorable girl. Last but not least, Linda, whom my kids called "Mummy Indah", busy with her "project" with her dear hubby. I wish you success dear, I sincerely do. And thank you for the wonderful lunch!

A funny incident happened during our lunch. While I was feeding Afiqah, somehow my wedding band slipped off from my finger and rolled off. I was panicked and asked the girls to look out for me. Linda, BabyHD and I searched around our sitting area and all of us stoop under the table searching for my ring. It was an embarrassing moment as everyone around were staring at us, maybe wondering what in the world these girls were looking for! Finally, Linda found it! It was on Afiqah's chair. Phew...thanks girl! I would cry if I lost it. Thinking back, how could it slipped off from my finger? Either I lose weight or the ring has expanded. BabyHD suggested that I put that ring on my centre finger. Kelakar ekkk!!!

They hanged out at my place after that. We had a good laugh and teasing one another. The girls went into one of my rooms and was surprised to see my collection of bajus. Well Linda, before you publish that pic on your blog, I will do it on MY BLOG (ueekkk - stick out tongue)!

These are only half of my bajus, some more in the wardrobe. Ainn said it's like a tailor's room. Wei!!!

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to my darling cousin, Linda, for the wonderful lunch and the effort to gather us all. I really, really enjoyed the moment we shared even it's only for while. Only God knows when we can held another gathering as all of us go our own way after marriage. But all of you are always on my mind and in my heart. I remember each of you in my prayers and hope Allah will protect us and our love ones. And may we are blessed with health and may Allah strengthen our faith and lead us to HIS path. I love you girls.....

Saturday, August 21, 2004

OK...OK....here I am. Let me recall what happened to me these past few days.

Friday - Oh..oh, I can't remember.

Saturday - A monthly gathering from my group, Cyberibu, was held at my premises. Mummies from various area came to attend this kuliah. This was a very informative and interactive kind of kuliah. Our Ustazah taught us in a very different approach. She would let us contribute our opinions and ideas on the given topic.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed as I couldn't give my 100% attention. I was constantly interrupted by Afiqah and Affandy. Afiqah spilled water on the table while Affandy was very grouchy on that day. Afrina locked herself in her room and read her books. After they left, I cleaned up the place. The mess was not as bad as last month's gathering cause this time, I closed the girls' room. So the children that came did not go inside.

After maghrib, we went out for dinner at Yishun. Once we reached home, I put the girls and myself to sleep. So tired and sleepy........

I'M BACK!!!

I was PCless for the past few days. I sent my PC for servicing as some malfunction occured. Everytime I switched on the PC, it prompted me to scan the hardisk due to inconsistency problem. Even after scanning, the message still appeared and I was prompted to scan again. Then, when I went into the internet, it will hanged. It was so frustating and I decided to call for help.

I called up this young Malay chap which was recommended by my aunt. He is very professional and experience despite his young age. He explained that my PC got a bad sector on the hardisk and it needed to be changed. He is very patience in explaining and answered every stupid questions by me, professionally. We were satisfied with his job done.

For those out there who need a PC doctor, give me a buzz. I strongly recommended him as his price is reasonable and he has work commitment.

Funny how this PC affect my life. I am not an aggresive user and only switched it on as and when I feel like it. But when its down, I felt so frustated. Something is missing in my life. It's like....life is incomplete without PC. I can't update my blog, read my tagboard, retrieve my emails and worst, no chatting with my friends. It's like I was being cut down from the outside world. This is normal right.....I hope!

Hopefully this time after servicing, this PC won't dissapoint me again. This creature is one thing I can't do without.

This afternoon, I was supposed to meet up with a group of friends. We planned to play netball, just for the sake of fun. I told my girls about it and they were very excited to see me play. It's been a very very long time since I played that sport. The last time I played, I think, when I was in my secondary school. Wow...its been more than a decade. I'm not sure if I have the same strength and stamina to run around the court and throw the ball. Hope I still have the "ball-sense"....

But....a SMS from a friend saying the plan was cancelled. The reason being....no response from the rest of the gang. Now I am bored at home with the kids as we have nowhere to go. Hubby is working today and I doubt that he will come back early. Boring................

Bang Your Head

Friday, August 13, 2004

There is this little boy, who is very curious and loves to climb at anything within his reach. One day, he found something that is very interesting. He climbed up the table, and try to get in. He banged and shouted at this thing, hope that this thing would let him in....

Maybe not. So he try other means. How about pressing the buttons? Who knows this thing would open up....

Then he realized that a "papparazzi" caught him in act!! He shouted angrily, "Go away! Get busy with something else..or get a life!!"

The moral of the story.....................

Wow! It's been quite sometime I did not update. First of all, I would like to thank my fellow bloggers for their soothing words to make me calm. I even got a blood sista now!! (*wink*) I'm alright actually. I felt fine right after I posted that entry. That's the power of writing. I penned down my thoughts and it felt like the burden of anger slowly fade away.....

Back to the topic why I did not update. Well....it's not that I was that busy. In fact, it's a long weekend for me as Tuesday was a school holiday for Afrina. So I did not have to rush things. We did go out to my mum's house, picnic at East Coast and also hanged out with my hubby's buddy. I have accessed to the PC and I even surfed the net and visited a lot of others bloggers' websites. I have a lot of things on my mind for me to type it down to post an entry. But I just didn't want to. For the past week, I would rather read other people's entry than writing my own. What is the word to describe me??

By the way, at 8.30 pm today, I have known my husband for exactly 11 years!!! We have been married for 7 wonderful years. I remembered the very first time he called to get to know me. He was such a gentleman, and he still is. To my darling hubby...Happy 11th Year "Get To Know You" Anniversary!!!

I hate it when people like to take advantage of me. I may be nice, but that doesn't mean people can take me for granted.

There is a difference between a "request" and "demand". I can always decline a "request", but as a gesture of goodwill, I will gladly do it as a favour. But if people come to me and "demand" me to do something, as though it's my responsibility to fulfill that demand. But what I do not understand about myself, why do I proceed to fulfill that demand? Even though I was unhappy inside, I still do the task reluctantly. Was it because I want to avoid trouble, or I just couldn't be bothered? Was it because I want to prolong the friendship and do not want to this issue to strain the relationship? And to make matter worse, no words of appreciation after what I've done. I really felt bitter and angry inside. I do not expect to be treated like god, but at least a word of thanks would live up my spirit.

For those who do not know the other side of me, I can bite people's head too. Not just that, I can even eat up the brain and suck up the blood. Do not test my patience!! There is always a word called 'limit'. Once my anger reach the 'limit' line, I am not who you think I am. Rest assured that you will regret what you have done to me. By then, no soothing words can compose me. No apology can be accepted. Make no mistake to understand that!!! Arrrggghhhh.....!!!!

But so far, none of the above has happened. It's all in my head. My imagination always run wild if I do not control my mind and emotion. End of the day, I always remind myself to return to the correct path. And I pray that I hope will not do the same to other human beings as what these people did to me.

Today is supposed to be my "off-day" but yet I still "work" like any other days. Hubby is working and since it's raining, I stayed home with the kids. I get my girls to help me tidy up their room, but we messed up the study room instead. This is because we just bought a wardrobe and chest drawers for the kids and their abah do not want to see toys scattered all over their room. So where can we put all those toys? We dumped them in the study room!

Their room looks better now with the new colourful wardrobe. Of course there are still some toys laying around but its not as bad as last time. When it was time for bed, I always had to get them to keep their toys first before they could have their milk. Sometimes it was like I was talking to the wall as they ignored my instruction! Now with the toys being dumped somewhere, no more nagging from me (I hope). But tomorrow got to think of a way to tidy up the study room. Sigh....work never end.....

I'm feeling better now. For those who were concerned, thank you.

I went out with two mommies from this group just now. Even though I brought my 3 kids along, I feel relaxed. Alhamdulillah, they behaved today. We went out to get things for my "new hobby" (which I do not want to reveal now). InsyaAllah, I will start doing "it" next week. Hopefully when "this thing" is ready, it gonna make me feel proud. And I hope darling hubby will give me full support in doing "this" and I want him to be proud of me. I do not want to be just a "stay at home mum". I want to be someone who knows how to make full use of time and doing something valuable. InsyaAllah, with Allah's guidance and permission.

I'm also looking foward tomorrow to meet up hubby's buddies with their wives. She is one of them. We planned to have dinner and after that hang around at my place. It's been a long time since we went out together. I'm sure it's gonna be fun.

The flu virus is in the house!!! The kids got it and now it's my turn. Even how many Vit C you swallowed, if your immune system is low, you can't escape from it.

Look at this....

The chubby little princess of the house...Princess Afiqah did this!!! While I was tidying the living room, she messed the kitchen.  She took out all the plastics from the kitchen drawer. Was it fun to make a mess? At her age...everything against the rules are fun!

And who else helped me to clear the mess? The big sista...aka Princess Cinderella (she loves when people called her this). Didn't I tell you she's a real gem?

Ask any stay at home mum, what can make their day? As for me...no cooking means more time for me! I don't have to think what to cook, at least for today.

Today is hubby's off day, so he planned for us to go out in the afternoon. I asked him if is it ok if I don't cook today, he said.."alrite, kita makan luar". YAHOOOOO!!!! I longed to eat the Satay Burger from KFC.  Hopefully we can have our lunch at KFC.  I want to eat the Coleslaw, Whipped Potato, Fries, Chicken Popcon...and my favourite drink...ICE MILO!! Yummy..... (How to stay slim like that ???)  But we don't eat at these fast food restaurants frequently...only once in a while.  So bila dah masuk..bayar niatlah!!!

SO KFC...here I come....!

SHE IS JUST A CHILD....

Yesterday, Afiqah, my second daughter and Affandy were taking their afternoon nap.  My first daughter, Afrina, was memorizing her spelling while I was chatting with one of my friends in the net.  Afiqah woke up crying when she realized I was not beside her.  Hearing his sister cried, Affandy woke up crying too.  I was hoping both of them would stop crying once they realized that they had each other in the same room.  But fat hope! They came to me for attention while I was "enjoying" chatting.  Both of them wanted to be carried. How was I supposed to do carry both at once?

Then, to my surprised, Afrina put down her spelling list and came to us.  She said, "Come...satu orang ikut kakak. Mari kakak dukung. Semua orang asyik nak Ummi, takde orang nak kakak. Stop crying. Ummi kan lagi work kat computer tu.  Come Affandy ikut kakak." She carried her brother.

Only God knows how I felt at that moment.  Ashamed (as I was not busy doing "work"), proud, relieve and happy.  My God...she is only 5 years old.  Yet she behaved like grown up and willing to take responsibility.  I was speechless.

I remembered when I was 5, I was still being pampered by my grandparents (I was looked after by them).  I don't remember being asked to do anything nor I offered to help.  But my girl is different.  She loves to help around even though she is not required to do so.  She would washed her own plate after meal.  She swept the floor when leftover tidbits was all over.  She helped to wash her sister's hands.  There are so many things for me to list down.  She may be naughty at times, but I realized she has become a responsible and helpful little girl.  Ya Allah..I love her more and more seeing her growing up.

At times, when she was concentrating doing her things, I would just stare at her.  Please don't get me wrong, I don't mean to brag about my own flesh and blood. But..Ya Allah...she is so beautiful.  And when she smiles, her dimples show on both her cheeks.  When I looked at her, I see myself there cause she looks just like me.  With her curly hair and small eyes.  Thank you Allah for creating her for me.  I admit, I used to scold her the most as being a big sister, she should set good example to her siblings.  But I tend to forget that she is just a child.  She deserves some respect, the way she respected me.  And most of all, she loves me unconditionally.

I love you..Nurin Izzah Afrina....just the way you are.

DOA SEORANG ISTERI

Ya Allah
Kau ampunilah dosa ku yg telah ku perbuat
Kau limpahkanlah aku dengan kesabaran yg tiada terbatas
Kau berikanlah aku kekuatan mental
Kau kurniakanlah aku dengan sifat keredhaan
Kau peliharalah lidahku dari kata-kata nista
Kau kuatkanlah semangatku menempuhi segala cabaranMu
Kau berikanlah aku sifat kasih sesama insan

Sekiranya suami ku menyintai kesesatan
Kau pandulah aku untuk menarik dirinya keluar dari terus terlena

Ya Allah
Kau yang Maha Megetahui apa yang terbaik untukku
Kau juga yang Maha Mengampuni segala kesilapan dan keterlanjuranku
Sekiranya aku tersilap berbuat keputusan
Bimbinglah aku ke jalan yang Engkau redhai
Sekiranya aku lalai dalam tanggungjawabku sebagai isteri
Kau hukumlah aku didunia tetapi bukan diakhiratMu
Sekiranya aku engkar dan derhaka
Berikanlah aku petunjuk kearah rahmatMu

Ya Allah sesungguhnya
Aku lemah tanpa petunjukMu
Aku buta tanpa bimbinganMu
Aku cacat tanpa hidayahMu
Aku hina tanpa RahmatMu

Ya Allah
Kuatkan hati dan semangatku
Tabahkan aku menghadapi segala cubaanMu
Jadikanlah aku isteri yang disenangi suami
Bukakanlah hatiku untuk menghayati agamaMu
Bimbinglah aku menjadi isteri Soleha

Hanya padaMu Ya Allah ku pohon segala harapan
Kerana aku pasrah dengan dugaanMu
Kerana aku sedar hinanya aku
Kerana aku insan lemah yg kerap keliru
Kerana aku leka dengan keindahan duniamu
Kerana kurang kesabaran ku menghadapi cabaranMu
Kerana pendek akal ku mengharungi ujianMu

Ya Allah Tuhanku...
Aku hanya ingin menjadi isteri yang dirahmati
Isteri yang dikasihi
Isteri yang soleha
Isteri yang sentiasa dihati
Amin Ya Rabbi Allamin...

What's The Menu?

Everyday and everynight, I have to think and think and think...what should I cook for the family? Even though dear hubby is not fussy, still I want to prepare a good meal for him and my kids. But sometimes, I really don't have a clue what to cook.

Life was easier when before I became a stay at home mum. I don't have to worry about the menu, cause it was all being taken care of. I used to send my girls to their baby-sitter just the next few blocks away from mine. This generous and beautiful lady, which my girls call her "Ibu", will prepare for me and hubby dinner. She is a very good cook. She said she didn't charge for the food as she always cook extra. But I insisted paying her for the food. And the menu changed everyday. Even weekend, she would send her boys to deliver the dishes to my house. Isn't she sweet?

But that was last year...now I'm on my own. Got to crack my brain to think of the dishes to prepare. Sometimes I refer to the recipes book that I have (a lot of them), but still couldn't decide. I always have to cook two dishes - one for me and hubby, and the other for the kids. Dishes for kids would always be soup, lemak, kicap, bening, soup, lemak, kicap, bening ...sampai I naik jelak nak masak! Luckily, the kids never complaints.

Today, I decided to cook Ayam Briyani and Fishball + Cauliflower + Tomato Soup. That's it! But tomorrow.......?

MY BLISSFULL MARRIAGE

Alhamdulillah....yesterday was my 7th year wedding anniversary.

Time flies really fast. I've been a wife for 7 years and blessed with a wonderful husband, two beautiful daughters and a charming son. I am very grateful to Allah s.w.t. Thinking back all those years...can't believe that I have come this far. Being a wife is not easy...being a good wife is much more difficult. So many things that I have learnt in this marriage. This marriage has formed me into a "real person". It taught me all about love, responsibilities, and sharing. Of course, every marriage there are ups and downs, but in the end, love that all matters. I believe that love can do wonders.

Just to remind myself what we have achieved so far in this marriage ~

1997 ~ Legally married and honeymoon at Gold Coast Australia and Medan. We also went to Mekah to perform Umrah.
1999 ~ Nurin Izzah Afrina was born. And we moved to our own house.
2002 ~ After years of trying, Nurin Haida Afiqah was conceived and born.
2003 ~ We were blessed with a son unexpectedly, Muhammad Baqir Affandy.

Alhamdulillah, I have everything and I couldn't ask for more. Thank You ALLAH!!!

I really had fun yesterday. We went out with our kids to celebrate. We went to Esplanade and the children was happy to see the Merlion. It's been years since I went to that place. A lot have changed. We took some photos and walked from one end to the other. Luckily the weather was cloudly yesterday.

Then we have our dinner at Breeks. They served halal western food. That was the first time I ate there. Not bad! But the children enjoyed more cause with all the fried foods they served. We reached home before nine and straight away I put them to sleep. So I have some time alone with hubby......(wink)

Friday, July 09, 2004

Imagine this scenario.......

"Last night you had a quarrel with your husband. You slept with your child and he slept alone. No goodnight kiss, no feeling of warmth in his arms, no words of love. Only anger accompanied you to sleep.

Morning came....you were willing to forget and forgive, hoping he would do the same. You didn't mind to make the first move to approach him. You went to the room and sat beside him on the bed. You just sat there quietly and watched him sleep. He had a kind of sad look on his face. Your heart ached to touch him and to say you were sorry. You touched his hand...it felt so cold. You kissed his lip...you couldn't feel his breath. Your heart was beating faster. You called his name...he didn't answer. Could he had...left you...without any last words? Then you realized, it's too late...he's gone. All those things that you wanted to tell him, left unsaid. No words could explain how you felt at that moment. Only tears ran down. Regret? Angry? Devastated?"

In this life, we always take our loved ones for granted. We fail to cherish every moment when we are together, only to realize that sometimes its too late. We always thought that, there is always tomorrow. Tomorrow will be waiting for us. But what if it never comes? What would you do? Why it's so difficult to whisper the words of love when you are angry? Many forget that love can do wonders. Never wait for special moment to express your love...cause with love, every moment are special.

WOODEN BOWL

Someone sent me this....a great way to remind ourselves.

A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and a four year old grandson. The old man's hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred and his step faltered. The family ate together at the table. But the elderly grandfather's shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.

The son and daughter-in-law became irritated with the mess. "We must do something about Grandfather," said the son. I've had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating and food on the floor.

So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl. When the family glanced in Grandfather's direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food.

The four year old grandson watched it all in silence. One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, "What are you making?"

Just as sweetly, the boy responded, "Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up." The four year old smiled and went back to work.

The words so struck the parents that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.

That evening the husband took Grandfather's hand and gently led him back to the family table. For the remainder of his days, he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.

On a positive note, I've learned that, no matter what happens or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that, regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life.

I've learned that making a "living" is not the same thing as making a "life."

I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.

I've learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But, if you focus on your family, your friends, the needs of others, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.

I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.

I've learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone.

People love that human touch - holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.

Nothing much happened in my life lately...just the usual thing. Nothing interesting, nothing to brag about.

With regards to my last posting, few friends from Cyberibu gave me some good advise. Children need attention. I noticed that my girls would start to quarrel when I was busy doing the housework. I thought that after all the jobs done, I could sit with them and join them. But I guess I was wrong. The chores would never end. I should learn to priotize things to be done first. And most important, I have to learn to control my temper. It ain't easy but I don't want to be labelled as "wicked witch" (wink to sotong). I am not that bad as a mother right?

As today is a school holiday and hubby's off day, we went to JB. At first we thought of bringing the kids to Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex but it closed on Monday. What a waste! Anyway I had fun today. We had our lunch at a restaurant called "Vito" at Angsana. They served Italian food by buffet. I love to eat spaggeti. But I think it would be a waste for us cause we are not a big eater. Afrina and Afiqah were charged for the meal but at half price.

One more thing, for those who are "hungry" for my updates, please bear with me. I am not a good writer and it's not easy for me to pen my thoughts. Sometimes I wanted to write something but instead I just stared at the monitor with my fingers ready on the keyboard. I have a lot of things on my mind to share with but when I faced the PC, I just don't know where to begin. In the end, I gave up. I would rather read your blogs than waiting for all those ideas to come. All these blogging things are new to me and I'm still learning. Please bear with me. (Am I being too humble?)

Patience...patience

Somebody out there....please teach me how to be patience!!!

Budak-budak kat rumah ni betul-betul menguji kesabaran aku. Asyik bertekak aje! Satu hari tak bergaduh, tak sah. Gaduh mulut tak pe, tapi kalau dah jalan tangan, macamana? Si kakak tak nak mengalah, si adik lagi terror - main cekau dan tarik rambut. Bila dah baik, kalahkan best friend...so loving. Tapi bila gaduh..hai...

If I follow my heart, I don't wish to find out who's at fault. Just wanna pinch and hit them hard. But I'll feel guilty after that. Make me worst than a step-mum in old movies. There was once when I could'nt take it anymore when they quarelled, I just sat in front of them and cried. I didn't want to scold them, didn't want to beat them. I'm just tired...with the never-ending house chores.

"Dear girls..Ummi loves both of you very much. But sometimes Ummi has to be a very wicked mum when I'm angry. I'm sorry that I beat both of you just now. It hurts me too. But I couldn't control my anger when both of you shouted at each other while your little brother was asleep. You girls woke him up. So I hope you learnt your lesson."

Lega dapat luahkan perasaan yang meluap-luap ini. So..kawan-kawan yang ada anak...kasi tips please...

Say hi to everyone....

WHERE ARE MY GIRLS???

My two adorable girls are still not back from their holidays yet! They were supposed to return yesterday, but they are still at my in-laws' house at JB. I really miss them so much. This house is so quiet without their bickering at each other, their laughter and their demand. Sometimes I wonder, do they miss me?

Yesterday was Affandy's 1st birthday. He can stand up on his own now, hopefully he can learn to walk soon. I can see that he miss his sisters also.

I had a lunch date with my husband yesterday. It's so awkward to eat with just the three of us. Later at night, my hubby's buddy came by to our house with his girlfriend. She is so tall, taller than my hubby in fact. But she is so sweet and very friendly. We became friends immediately and I like her a lot. We went to Mustafa Centre (yes chapati, again) and had our dinner there. And guess what, we bought a new 14" colour TV!!! The old one was out of order for so long and we were TVless in our master bedroom. Come to think of it, why a 5-room flat needs to have 3 TV's?

Later today I planned to bring Affandy to Changi Airport to send off my 2 aunts and uncle to Umrah. I really hope I can go to Umrah again. Mecca is a very beautiful and peaceful place. Insya'Allah...one day we will go one whole family.

I'M BACK!!!

Yes, I know...I should update. Been verrrry busy to really sit down and type. Well..here I am!

Where should I start? Sunday...was a very hectic and busy day. I celebrated my son's 1st birthday (even though his exact birthdate will be tomorrow, 23rd). A lot of guests came in and out...and I think I was a very lousy host. For those who came..sorry if I couldn't entertain you much. And thank you very much for coming to celebrate and for all those lovely presents and $$$$!!! Affandy got a lot of toys and the problem now..I don't know where to put them!

I was delighted when my friends from Cyberibu came. Thanks kawan-kawan, you girls ROCK!

I also would like to express my appreciation to my darling cousin, Linda, who sponsored the birthday cake. It's sooo yummmyyyy!!!! Thanks girl!

By the way, my in-laws "borrowed" my two little princesses that night. They promised to "return" them on tomorrow. I miss the girls sooo much!

Monday....was cleaning day. Washed all the "perioks", vacuuming, mopping, rearranging the furniture, washing the laundry...and the list goes on and on and on and on....PENAT TAU!

Today I feel sad. I went to visit my cousin brother in hospital this afternoon. There's a tumour grow in his stomach that had already spread. He got 4 lovely kids and he is the sole breadwinner. When I spoke to his wife, I was touched when she said, "I have to be strong cause I know he needs me more than ever." When I went home, I tried to imagine me in her shoes. Can I be as strong as her? Who would be there for me if this happen to me? Sometimes, we always take things for granted when our loved ones are around. I am very ashamed of myself. I pray that Allah will guide me to become a good and "more tolerance" wife. May Allah strengthen my faith and dismiss my pride. May Allah protect my family, relatives and friends that I loved. Amin....

So many things are on my mind today. And I can't think straight. I understand now life will never always be perfect even how hard you tried. Like I've said, I'm Not A Superwoman. Please understand.....

I try not to think about my problems right now. At the moment, I still have a lot of things to do. This Sunday is my son's birthday party. I hope everything will turn out well. I'm quite excited actually. When I think about the gifts and presents that Affandy will get...(eee tak malu ummi ni). Time flies so fast...my son is turning 1 soon.

This is the photo of my kids taken on last Hari Raya.

I'M NOT A SUPERWOMAN :-(

Early in the morning I put breakfast on your table
And make sure that your coffee had it sugar and cream
Your eggs are over-easy, you taste it lightly
What missing is your morning kiss that you used to greet me

Now you see the juicy sour, that it used to be so sweet
And I can't help but to wonder if you're talking about me
We don't talk the way we used to talk
It's hurting so deep....
I got my pride, I will not cry
But its making me weak

I'm not your superwoman
I'm not the kind of girl that you can let down
And thinks that everything's ok
Boy I am only human

I rushed my way thru the rush hour just to make it for you
I want to make sure your dinner will be waiting for you
But when you get there, you just say you're not hungry at all
You said you rather read the paper and you don't want to talk

You like to say that I'm just crazy when I said that you've changed
I'm convinced I know the problem, you don't love me same
You just go and thru it all, and you're not being fair
I got my pride, I will not cry
But its making me weak

Baby look into the corner of your mind
I'll always be there for you through good and bad times
But I can't be the superwoman that you want me to be
I'll give my love, everlasting love
If you return love to me.....

I'M TIRED

I feel very tired today. So much things to do. With Affandy's birthday party just round the corner, still got a lot to do.

This morning, after sending Afrina to "kelas ngaji", I rushed back to cook as Dear Hubby is going back for lunch. Then I went again to fetch Afrina and with my 3 kids, we went to Vista Point to get the bread and milk. All of us were sweating as the weather was so hot today.

This morning also Hubby has brought down the curtains and I've washed them. I managed to wipe the windows and its soooooo dusty!!! Of coz I didn't open the grill, I don't dare. Just wiped the inside will do. The girls & I cleared their room. We threw away all the unwanted and broken toys. They have so many toys! Still have loadful of laundries to do and the list go on and on and on and on.....

Anyway, my good friend, Lin mentioned me in her blog entry today. Thanks Lin...I think you are great too!

What Did I Do Today?

Monday...I'm quite satisfied for the work done today. Finally after almost 6 years living in our own house, hubby asked the aircon man to service our air-conditioners. Years of complaining and nagging that our aircon was not that cold....now I got no more reason to complain. Thanks hubby..I appreciate what you have done..Love you muack!

And I have cleared the whole basket of clothes for ironing!!!! Well done Ummi!! My kids and I locked ourselves in my room and we switched on the air con (just serviced ok), we on the radio. The girls played dressed up with my tudungs, while my boy played by himself in his cot. The girls messed my room, but why should I mind. My heart melts watching them playing. As long as I can finished my ironing!

Hubby work afternoon shift today. Meaning we only can meet him the next morning coz by the time he comes back..all of us will be having our sweet dreams..I hope.

First of all...a million thanks to my friend, teacher, IT consultant, moderator..etc.. Without her, I would not be sitting here typing. And she was soooo patient with me all along. The layout was so beautifully done with my favourite colour..pink! Wow... I love you Zai...muack!

Hello frenz...

Welcome to my blog!! (Chapati - baru i berani go on air, he he). Hopefully I can make new frenz here and others can get to know me better.

Yesterday, I felt feverish. I missed my swimming lesson today and missed meeting my Cyber frenz. Hopefully Kak Gee is not angry with me coz I forgot to message her that I would be absent. Sorrryyy Kak Geee.... I feel better now but still weak. Gotta go!
