Got this virus this morning. It's getting bad in the late evening. I kept rubbing my right eye as it felt so itcy and uncomfortable. Using Optrex did not help much. Must see doctor first thing in the morning before it get worse.

There goes my weekend.......

I am very grateful and relieved to announce that we have paid off all our renovation loan for our house. It's been five years since we carried the burden. I admitted that there were times that our financial situation were tight, but somehow we managed to pull through. Alhamdulillah......

I really hope that we will not be taking up anymore loan (except for the HDB loan which we can't run from). We really need to top-up our savings, not just for us, but for our kids too. May Allah make it easier for us.

Afrina was overjoyed when I told her that I wanted to make suji AGAIN. This time, I allowed her to shape her own suji. She came up with many weird shapes. Despite the shape, it still taste good....

The scent of the 'minyak urut' still lingers on my body and even in my room. I feel relaxed now and no more back pain. I was a little ticklish and my body was tensed when she started to rub my body. I was told to relax. One and a half hour gone so fast. How I wish I could get massage everyday....

It's not easy to become the 'middle' person. I have tried my very best to be the neutral party but it's not an easy task. When I listened to the first story, I felt angry, but after listening to the second one, I felt pity. But I know I have to put those feelings aside as I have to remind myself that I am not in the position to take sides. I love both parties the same and I am honoured that they have put their trust in me through confiding. These responsibilities are heavy, at least for me. When I talked to the first party, I felt the urge to tell the whole story from the second party, and vice-versa. But something stopped me somehow. I was glad that I didn't do that cause when I stepped back and looked at the whole scenario, it will only make matter worse. I did not want to be 'talam dua muka'. It's difficult to convey the message to both parties as I had to rephrase their words in a nice and acceptable manner. And if I phrase it wrongly, I can foresee that I will be at the losing end if there are to make peace with each other. I have done my part and now it's up to them to forgive, forget and start afresh. May Allah lead them to the right way.

Rest assured that I am not flattered that people came to me for advise or opinion. I am not a counselor of any kind or someone that people can look up to. I am just a humble human being who has her own flaws. I am not perfect. But if people come to me for advise, I am glad to give my opinion from my point of view. I treasure their trust in me.

Ya Allah, please give me the strength to hold these responsibilities....

My back was aching since Sunday. Not sure what's the reason. So I called up a friend who is a 'tukang urut' by profession. She will come this afternoon.

I do have a few things to write but presently, I just can't wait to be massage. Till I can sit up straight, then I'll start to update again.

Bye...........

I'M BACK!!!

My PC was having some technical problems for the past week. Alhamdulillah, everything is in perfect order now. We have decided to cease using the Singnet Broadband, so now we are using the Starhub MaxOnline. Hopefully it will not give us problems anymore.

Thank you for the birthday wishes for Afiqah and Afrina. Afrina's birthday was on 21st February and she is 6 six years old now. Since PC was down, so I didn't manage to upload her baby picture taken six years ago. Thank you to all once again.

Till the next update.......Enjoy your weekend!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday To Nurin Haida Afiqah Binte Rohaizat....

I am 3 years old.....

Afrina and Afiqah's birthday are coming soon. Afrina has been pressuring me to prepare goodies bags to be distributed to her classmates. As this is her last year in Kindergarten, I agree. So Hubby went to JB to get all the goodies. Afrina also requested for birthday cake. As I do not want to trouble her teacher to cut the cakes in class, Hubby suggested that I bake cup cakes for her instead, which I tried yesterday. Of course the two girls are delighted to have goodies bags and cup cakes for their classmates.

Chocolate Chips Cup Cakes

Yesterday, I felt that I was working non-stop. The weather was hot and I was sweating even though the fan was on. These were the major things that I did :-

Sent Afrina to school - bathed Afiqah and Affandy - clear laundry - cook - sent Afiqah to school - market - continue cooking - fetched Afrina - baked cake - coached Afrina on her homework - fetched Afiqah - lunch with the kids - put Afiqah and Affandy to sleep - update blog for a while - ironing - changed ALL bed sheets, mattress and pillows covers - bathed the kids - cleared the mess at living room - dinner with the kids - shower - played with the kids - put the kids to bed - watched CSI while waiting for Hubby to come home - slumber land. Phew.....my right hand is aching now!

Hubby lost his handphone yesterday. The sad thing is, all important telephone numbers were stored in his SIM card. It's tedious to get all the numbers all over again. He will be picking his new SIM card today and he will use his old handphone. I was wondering if I can sweet-talk him in buying the latest new handphone for me, and he can use mine instead...

I don't have the chance to sit long enough in front of the computer to update my blog. My name was being called everytime I sat in this room. Afiqah and Affandy is taking their afternoon nap, so this is my only chance to quickly recap the events in my life for the past few days.

Wednesday was lunching and shopping day with Linda and her mum. I bought a beautiful and expensive (very pricey for me!) cloth for myself. After sending them back home, I'm off to my in-laws' house. As usual, my MIL packed up some food for me to bring back.

Thursday was swimming day for us. Brought the kids to Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex and we lunched at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Then stay home as everyone was tired.

Friday was back to normal routine as the girls started schooling.

Saturday was KO Gathering day. I've prepared 'lontong goreng' and we met at Lizanoor's house. This was the 3rd gathering for us. As we have known each other for quite sometime, our meetings was filled with jokes and laughter. I can see that we were not shy anymore, unlike the very 1st meeting. What is gathering without lots of foods being spread on the table. We ate, we laughed, we took pictures, we shaked hands and we left. Here's my photo with each of them...

Last shot before we headed home...

When will our next gathering be, girls?

Sunday morning I attended religious class and I saw Th0ts. She was quite a distance for me to call her. So I just sent her sms after the class and she was surprised. Will call out her name if I see her next week. And yes, Spidey was there too. No chance to chat long with her as she had to rush after the class.

Stayed home for the rest of the day till dinner. We dined at a restaurant along Sembawang Road. Next day was back to usual routine....

Hubby and the kids really love to eat suji. So after searching for the recipe, finally I have made my own!! (I've taken some pics but I can't seem to open my photobucket).

Thank you once again Mummy Jam for the recipe. You can be my official on-line recipe book *grin*. This is the original and traditional recipe. I also got some useful tips from my Aunt on how to make a good suji. It really taste simply divine...not so sweet and not so soft, just nice.

Let's see how long this tupperware of suji can last....

'Selamat Menyambut Zikral Hijrah 1426, semoga hidup kita senantiasa diberkati Allah....'

Before we headed to the dentist, Affandy had his hair trimmed. By his Abah, of course, as always. And as always, he just could not keep still. He would cry and cry and cry until no voice came out. Hubby was not satisfied with the trimming this time round. It was not perfectly done as Affandy moved too much. Guess what, the 'petak' appeared again! It's right at the back of his head. As long as his hair is no longer spiky, I don't mind the 'petak' at all.

We went to our dentist appointment after lunch. Hubby went in first. Geee..what took him so long inside? Then it's Afrina's turn. I went in with her. I explained to the dentist about my worry. She said that was nothing to worry about. It's normal for a new tooth to grow even thought the old ones are still intact. Sooner or later, it will fall off by itself. So now I'm a 'kancheong' mother. Well just for simple checking and explaining, $10 for consultation fee. Hah!!!

Next was my turn. She took about 10 mins to clean my teeth. And I'm free to go, with freshly polished teeth!! The dental fees for the 3 of us totalled up to $168!! So expensive. But at least all of us can have more reasons to smile broadly....

Friday, February 04, 2005

These past few days, I felt like throwing up whenever I woke up in the morning. I did throw up though. It scares me when I think I will be, you know, that nine-months-ten-days thing. I'm not sure about that, well at least for now. Hopefully it was just the food that I took the night before. But if I am fated to be *I don't want to mention the word*, I guess HE knows better and what's best for me.

I'm very anxious about tomorrow. It's my dental appointment! Everytime I see the dentist, I'll get butterfly in my stomach. I am sure I'm not alone. Hubby and Afrina will get to see the dentist too. It's kind of our weekend activities *LOL*. This kind of activity sure sucks! Afrina is going to be 6 years old soon, but all the teeth are still intact. Then why am I bringing to the dentist? It's because, her new tooth has grown. Even though all her baby teeth still in good condition, this new tooth just pop up. I find it weird. So I decided to bring her to dentist. But if the dentist decides to pull out her baby tooth, then I am in great trouble. Cause I promised Afrina the dentist just need to check. No pain involves. Hopefully all will turn out fine.

Today my menu is Laksa! Thanks to the Instant Gravy *grin*. Since its easily available in the market, why not give it a try. But my Laksa is more to a healthy version, less oil, less santan and less salt. It tasted just simply divine.

My father-in-law called up saying he's coming. He came up alone as he was from JB. He bought for us Murtabak from JB...yummy. I asked him to come in but he declined as he didn't want to be late for his Friday prayer. We chat for a while between my front gate, me inside and him outside. I still find it weird and uneasy to have long conversation with him. I don't know why. It's just that I don't know how to end the conversation. What kind of daughter-in-law is this? Well at least I can have Murtabak and Laksa today....

My tummy is playing some music....it's NUMB!

Thursday, February 03, 2005

I have problems with the settings and alignment of my previous template. So for now, I'm happy with this one. And yes, no haloscan for me. Please feel free to give your comments and opinions at the tagboard. I'm sure it's big enough!

And listen to the music here...it's so soothing and calm (for this version of course). For those who does not have a speaker, here's the lyric of the song. Just sing it in your head.

NUMB

I'm tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so faithless lost under the surface
Don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure of walking in your shoes
(Caught in the undertone just caught in the undertone)
Every step I take is another mistake to you
(Caught in the undertone just caught in the undertone)

I've become so numb I can't feel you there
I've become so tired so much more aware
I've becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you

Can't you see that you're smothering me
Holding too tightly afraid to lose control
Cause everything that you thought I would be
Has fallen apart right in front of you
(Caught in the undertone just caught in the undertone)
Every step that I take is another mistake to you

(Caught in the undertone just caught in the undertone)
And every second I waste is more than I can take

I've become so numb I can't feel you there
I've become so tired so much more aware
I've becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you

And I know
I may end up failing too
But I know
You were just like me with someone disappointed in you

I've become so numb I can't feel you there
I've become so tired so much more aware
I've becoming this all I want to do
Is be more like me and be less like you

I've become so numb I can't feel you there
Is everything what you want me to be
I've become so numb I can't feel you there
Is everything what you want me to be

Enjoy......!!!

As the condition of my children still remain the same, I decided to get them to see another doctor yesterday. Hubby took sometime off from work to go with us. But luck was not on our side. The clinic was closed. I did not see the opening hours stated on the card in the first place. In the end, we just bought the cough syrup from the pharmacy nearby. Then we brought the kids to have some snack at McDonalds. Affandy loves to eat French fries; I saw that he ate quite a few. Well at least he took something to fill his stomach.

Even though Afiqah is still coughing, she never misses to enjoy her class. As I was sitting with her yesterday, she kept singing, "Ding Dong Bell, Ding Dong Bell". At first I could not get her song, but when she sang the whole song, even though the lyrics were not clear, she got the tune right. This is HER version of the song :-

Are you sleeping, are you sleeping
Ba de da, ba de da
Nying nying nying are nyining, nying nying nying are nyining
Ding Dong Bell, Ding Dong Bell!

Can you tell what song this is?

She is my 'pelat' little chubby girl. Even though she is the one who loves to test my patience most, I love her still the same. And she loves to put lots of powder on her face....

I want to write about my weekend, but today I just feel PISSED OFF. I don't understand why people can be downright rude and unethical. If I have done anything offensive, tell me straight to my face! I can accept it and sincerely apologize if I am wrong.

The situation at home does not enlighten my mood. With Affandy and Afiqah still sick, I have no idea what else I should do to make them better. The thing is they seldom get sick. But once the virus start attacking them, it's going to take while for them to recover. But, not this long. They have been sick for more than two weeks now. They have completed the whole course of medication. I even brought Affandy twice to see the doctor. But their conditions still remain the same, though slightly improved. What I worry most, is their fever. One moment they are fine - they will sweat and behave like any active children, but another moment they will just sit one corner and become very quiet. Then they will start crying and asked to be carried. The worst is Affandy, as nothing can make him comfortable beside cling to me. Another worry is that, he lost his appetite. Not single rice he will swallow, not even a biscuit. He only wanted nature's milk. I have to feed him but I am skeptical that the milk is nutritious enough for him. At his age, he ought to take more solid food. But at this moment, he just wanted my milk. I don't mind giving him, but how to make him understand that I have other things to do also. It also deprives me from my sleeping at night. It makes me stress up but I can't bear to see him crying out for me.

As a Mom, besides doing my very best to look after them, I just pray that my children will get better and healthier. Maybe this is a test for me. Ya Allah, please give me strength to carry on....

BENDA NI LAH!!!

Benda ni lah yang Hubby belikan masa kita shopping kat Courts Toa Payoh Central tu. Ada sale pulak tu. Benda-benda macam ni, hanya surirumah seperti aku aje yang tahu menghargai. Tanpa benda-benda ni, terasa hidup macam tak sempurna gitu. Lagi-lagi seterika (betul tak ejaan dia??) tu...dah lama aku mengecek Hubby suruh belikan yang baru. Barulah dapat. Yang lama bukan dah rosak, cuma bawah dia dah bercalar-calar habis aku kerjakan. Aku bukan ganas, itu maknanya aku bekerja!! Hampir setiap hari aku gosok baju, kalau tak aku, siapa lagi!!!

Dah lah berat benda tu, tak kuasa aku nak angkat. Tapikan, itu pemberian ibu mertuaku tau, so ada sentimental value. Setiap kali nak menjelang raya, dia pasti jeling-jeling kat dapur aku, nak tengok aku ada pakai ke tak. Dah 5 tahun benda tu tak keluar-keluar!! Sebab tu aku simpan baik-baik kat store tu. Tunggulah nanti bila aku ada rancangan nak berniaga kuih, baru aku keluarkan (wait long long). Sementara ni, aku gunakanlah mixer yang kecik molek macam aku ni. Nak buat kuih apa eh....??

HAH!!! BACALAH.........!!!!

Semalam aku hantar Afiqah berjumpa doktor kerana dia demam. Asyik pet pot pet pot aje. Ada aje yang dia nak cakap. Yang part ni aku tak tau dia ikut siapa, sebab aku tak macam gitu. Aku pet pot pet pot ikut mood. Nak kira kan aku ni pendiam jugaklah. Betullllll...

Masa Hari Raya Haji kemarin, aku ke rumah emak. Masa tu aku masih sakit, jadi aku rilek aje kat sana. Rumah emak pulak ramai orang datang, jadi ramai yang tolong jagakan anak-anak aku. Dapat jugak aku rest. Emak aku suka masak-masak.

Lepas Maghrib, Hubby ajak pergi shopping kat Toa Payoh Central. Apalagi...dapatlah aku beli barang-barang yang aku idam-idamkan. Nak tau apa? Tak boleh cakap sekarang. Nanti bila aku free, aku publish gambar barang-barang tu. Part tu korang nak komen, silakan......

Hari Sabtu, aku bawak anak-anak pergi rumah kawan aku. Hubby kena kerja satu hari, tapi kawan aku lagi satu pelawa aku tumpang kereta dia. Sebenarnya aku segan, tapi dia nak jugak suruh aku tumpang, boleh jugak aku jimat duit teksi.

Sampai aje rumah kawan aku tu, anak-anak aku terus masuk bilik anak dia. Aku panggil suruh makan pun dorang tak layan. Mana tak, bilik budak tu macam kedai mainan. Semua mainan ada. Bila part kemas, aku kena salute dengan kawan aku. Sebab kalau suruh aku kemas bilik mainan tu, aku TAK SANGGUP!!!

Hari Ahad, aku pergi rumah emak lagi.

Sekarang pun masih romantik jugak, tapi sekejap aje. Time limited!!!!

As I am typing this, my head is drowsy due to the flu medicine that I took just now. I am also shivering even though the weather is hot outside. Yes, I am sick, and so are Afrina, Afiqah and Affandy. All of us has been down with flu and cough.

But Afrina is the worst among us as she had fever since Sunday night. She was absent from school on Monday as her temperature was quite high. By afternoon, she has started sweating and she looked fine, so she went to school on Tuesday. But last night, her temperature rose again, and her coughing made her vomited. I send her to see doctor this morning, and she got 2 days of MC. She had 5 types of medicine to take. I just let her rest and hopefully she can recover soon.

Afiqah just started to cough and a slight running nose. It looks like she is fit to go to school. I gave her the medicine before she goes to school just now. Hopefully she did not fall asleep as the medicine will make her drowsy.

As usual, my Affandy will get cranky and agitated easily when he is sick. It was so difficult to get him to take the medicine as he would struggle and cried his heart out. I got no choice but to force him to swallow the medicine. How I wish Hubby was here to help me out....

I really hope that we could recover fast as I really need to be back on my feet again. I just feel that I can't afford to fall sick. There are so many things to do and I do not want to rely on Hubby so much. He has been very helpful and I am really grateful for that.

Thank you for those who has tagged and wrote some comments for me. I really need to rest and to be myself again. I will visit each of you once I am fine.

By the way, the cookies that I made last week was just a try out. It's not meant for Hari Raya Haji. I thought of baking something today but I don't have the strength. And I miss my class today.....

Thursday, January 13, 2005

Alhamdulillah, so far I am getting use to the new routine. Though my free time is limited, I managed to squeeze some time to bake this....

Snow Rock Cookies

Thank you Mummy Jam for your recipe. She gave me quite some time ago, only now I had the time to bake it. At least my oven get heat up once in a while. Now I'm tempted to bake something, which the recipe I got it from Zu. It may look easy, but not sure if I can do it.

In order to bake this, I need to push myself and some motivations, from Hubby maybe....

Tuesday, January 11, 2005

Every Friday, all the students from my daughters' school are required to put on jubah and tudung for the girls and baju kurung and songkok for the boys. I couldn't stop smiling looking at Afiqah in that attire.

Before going to school.....and yes, powder on the face is a MUST!

After school......

Berserak habis!!!

Thursday, January 06, 2005

It's been almost a week since the school reopen, but I still have not get use to the new routine. It seems that my "free" time is shorten. My duty starts from 5.30 a.m., and by 9.00 p.m. I'm dead worn out.

I am not in the position to complain as I know I am working in the comfort of my own abode. Who would listen to me anyway? I'm just grateful that I have the chance to look after my own children and watch them develop from babies to who they are right now. It's not an easy task, but I have to take one step at a time. I just have to remind myself that I am not perfect nor a superwoman. Hopefully that can bring my stress level down.

I've just on my PC and Affandy is crying looking for me.....

What a busy day today!!!

8.00 a.m - The whole family sent Afrina to school. Since she is familiar with the school's surroundings and atmosphere, I have nothing to worry about. As Afiqah will be in the next session, I brought her in hopefully she will not be shock later. She insisted that she wanted to join her sister in the classroom. I had to carry her out. We had breakfast at McDonalds, went to Sheng Siong and reached home about 10.00 a.m. Need to prepare Afiqah for school.

11.30 a.m - Sent Afiqah in to her classroom. I was quite worried as some students from other classes started to cry. But Afiqah was too busy to notice that.

Get ready to go to school.

She chose the seat herself. Posed before the form teacher comes in.

This is the cutest part. While her form teacher was busy talking to other parents and waiting for the classmates to settle down, she took out her pencil and Barbie book and started to do her own work. *That's my girl!*

Starts to make friend....

Finished school. Waiting for the school bus and showing off her name tag....

At the void deck, tired after 2 hrs of school.

We reached home about 2.00 p.m. Since I did not have the time to cook, we bought our lunch from the usual place, Banquet Vista Point.

Tomorrow will be another hectic day. Hubby will start work after a long sweet holiday. And I'm back to my usual routine.

Sunday, January 02, 2005

Hari ini aku nak bercerita dalam bahasa ibunda pulak.

Semalam pagi selepas sholat subuh, suami aku tak tidur balik. Jarang dia buat macam gini. Dia menonton DVD, lepas itu dia mandi dan turun Vista Point belikan kami sarapan. Lepas itu, dia tolong aku vacuum satu rumah pulak tu! Seronokkan?

Tapi turunnya pukul 3.10. Tapi takpe, sebab aku suka keluar dengan keluarga dia. Anak-anak aku ada kawan, suami aku ada kawan, aku pun ada kawan. Suami kami punya "gila-gila" pun setanding, jadi kami tak bosan.

Kita pergi Orchard Road tau. Kita makan di Breeks di Ngee Ann City. Lepas makan, kita jalan-jalan, tapi terpisah pulak. Keluarga dia nak pergi Metro, tapi keluarga aku, nak pergi John Little. Jadi suami aku telepon suami dia, tunggu di Masjid Al-Falah aje lepas sholat Maghrib.

Di John Little, aku fikir nak membeli belah sikit (sikit aje!), tapi terbantut pulak. Ni semua gara-gara Afrina lah!. Tengah sebuk pilih-pilih baju, dia kata dia sakit perut, nak memberut. Spoil ah! Takkan nak suruh Abah dia hantarkan? Jadi terpaksalah cari bilik kecik tu. Cari punya cari, jumpa jugak.

Suami kawan aku tu, suruh lepak kat rumah dia, sebab dia nak tengok perlawanan bola. Di kereta, kita semua berdebat mana nak beli makan malam. Compass Point ke atau Rivervall Mall? At last, aku yang buat keputusan, pergi Rivervall Mall sudahlah. Habis cerita. Bila sampai depan pintu rumah kawan aku tu, dia cakap, "jangan terkejut, rumah dia berserak". Bila aku masuk, dalam hati aku cakap, "ini dia kata berserak, dia belum tengok rumah aku lagi!"

Sambil makan dan melayan tetamu, tuan rumah lelaki tu sempat tengok bola. Aku sengaja kacau dia, suruh dia tukar saluran, sebab aku bosan tengok perlawanan bola. Dia cakap, lepas ni, aku nak tengok cerita apa pun boleh, lagi 10 minit bola ni habis. Tapikan, lepas bola habis, dia on x-box pulak. Habislah suami aku pun melekat kat depan tv tu. Nasib baik isteri dia layan aku berbual. Macam-macam kami perbualkan, sampai haus tekak.

Jam dah nak pukul 12 tengahmalam, suami aku tak sound pun nak balik. Ini tak boleh jadi! Budak-budak pulak sebok serakkan bilik bujang kecik yang penuh dengan alat permainan. Apalagi, tak ingat nak balik lah.

Kami sampai rumah pukul 12.30 malam. Si Afiqah dah dibuai mimpi bila masuk kereta, jadi Abah dia kena pikul. Kami terpaksa kejutkan Afrina dari tidur dia, sebab dia kena jalan sendiri. Siapa nak dukung dia, anak dara dah besar panjang! Lepas sholat Isyak, aku pun terus dibuai mimpi. Bila tadi jam bunyi pukul 5.30, dah kena bangun. Sampailah sekarang.

Aku ingatkan suami nak buat macam semalam, lepas subuh tak tidur balik. Macam takde harapan gitu. Entah nanti boleh bangun pergi belajar di Masjid An-Nur ke tidak? Kita tengok lah nanti.......

HAPPY NEW 2005!!!

Goodbye 2004..... Happy New Year to everyone!

Yesterday, even though it was raining the whole day, we brought the kids out. We had our lunch at Banquet Vista Point. Suprisingly, I met Salha while I was enjoying my food. She came down to have lunch with her whole family too. I was glad that I met up with her again and we exchanged phone numbers. But we did not manage to say goodbye as she left when I sent Afiqah to the washroom.

After lunch, we parked our car, took the feeder bus and MRT to Lot 1 Choa Chu Kang. My kids were happy and contented to have the chance to take the MRT rides. Normally Hubby would drive us to our destinations or I would flag a taxi if Hubby was not around. Watching them couldn't sit still in the trains, made me think twice to ride with them alone, without Hubby. I wouldn't want to raise my voice unnecessarily to them in the public. Wait till they are a bit older and listen to every instructions from me, then I will be confident enough.

We just walked around at Lot 1 Shopping Centre and I bought a birthday gift for a friend's child. We took the train and bus back home.

Since it was still raining and we were lazy to buy dinner, I cooked instant noodles instead. As we seldom eat them, it tasted delicious till my girls had their third servings. They were really famished after the outing. I put the kids to bed before 10.00 p.m. I thought of joining Hubby watched TV after they were asleep, but when I woke up, it was already 5.30 a.m this morning.

No plans for today yet. But I will insist to Hubby that we should go out as I can anticipate that Monday will be a very busy day for me. There's where my duty as a domestic engineer resume. A very demanding and tough job undeniably!

SUPERWOMAN IS SUPER BUSY!

Coming to the end of the year, I am extremely busy. Besides the daily housework, I am preparing my two girls for school next year. Get ready their books, stationeries, alter their school uniforms, bags, shoes etc.

I can foresee that next year is going to be a very busy year for me. Afrina starts school at 8.30 to 11.30 a.m and her transport will pick her up at 7.30 a.m. While Afiqah starts at 11.30 a.m to 1.30 p.m which by 10.30 a.m she must get ready. I can't get them to be in the same session. So I have run up and down to send and fetch them. Lucky we arranged for bus transportation, if I were to send them myself....*sigh*

And I am proud to announce that Afiqah is fully toilet trained!!! Congratulations to me! Even though other kids might be fully trained earlier than her, Afiqah is almost 3 years old now, so its better late than never. The first week of training was not easy and I kept asking her every half an hour if she wanted to pee. She got irritated so she simply answer no. Then I changed my tactic, instead of asking, I told her if she felt like wanted to pee, please tell Ummi and we could run together to the toilet. And it worked!! I think to her it was more fun like that. So far she was also dry at night. Goodbye diapers, but of course, I have to standby training pants for her, just in case.

As I was waiting for Hubby to come home last night, I was asking myself if I should make any new resolutions for new year. I even could not remember what was my last year resolution. Well...I can only think of one, and I laughed at myself for it. I want to be a better cook, I mean, I want to improve my standard in the kitchen. Not just in cooking, but also in baking. I realized that I love to bake too, only time did not permit. I have loads of recipes which I collected and kept in the drawer. Starting from next year, it's tomorrow anyway, I want to try new recipes. I know I am not an excellent cook, but I want to try. No harm trying. Can I do it? InsyaAllah.......

The year 2004 brought so much sweet and bitter memories for me. I pray that 2005 will be a fulfilling year for me and hope I can be a better person. Goodbye 2004.....Here comes 2005!

Hubby set up a second-hand PC for the girls, and both were very excited about it. I have not installed any programme for them, but that didn't stop them from facing the PC. They make do with whatever proggrammes installed inside.

Afiqah waiting patiently for her turn...

And no internet for them yet. Just not yet....

I know I'm itchy handed and fickle minded. I myself not really fond of the other template, even though I did it myself. I'm still searching for a new template. In the meantime, I just love this original template of mine. And for the record, this template was created by her. Her name is Spidey.......

Affandy fell from my bed yesterday night. I didn't see how he fell. I just heard a loud thud and he cried loudly. We were in my room but I was facing the other side of the bed. When I turned, I saw that he fell on his forehead. He had scratches and bruises on his forehead.

As Afiqah was with him on the bed, I ask Afiqah how he fell. Accordingly to this little chubby girl, her brother jump and jump and fell. Just like a few months back when he climbed onto the dining table and he jumped like some superheroes. Now you understand why my dining table is chairless. I guess boys will be boys...

I really had fantastic time yesterday. Linda's parents fetched me at about 5 p.m. Then they told me that they were going to pick Linda from her workplace. So, Linda joined us on our trip to Geylang.

My aunt brought me to a shop where we get some ornaments. Linda kept pestering us to hurry up as she was hungry! *Tak senang aku nak shopping!* I bought for my girls a jilbab and off we went to City Plaza for our dinner. We ate at a restaurant called Pelangi Biru, which Linda insisted to go there. Linda and I ordered Pattaya Fried Rice, which we regretted cause it's tasteless. End up we bought back the food.

Afiqah, as usual threw her tantrums anytime and anywhere she liked. Lucky I have my cousin and aunt around, if not, how could I handled her. We performed our Maghrib prayer at Darul Arqam and they sent me back home. I called hubby to meet us at our void deck and together we went to Pasar Malam. This was the fourth time I went. Just couldn't resist Pasar Malam. Die die must go!!

I was dead tired upon reaching home. Got the children and myself ready to bed and off to slumberland....

Oh yes, I've change my template. This will do for the time being. Or maybe I will change to my old one. Emmmmmm.......

SUPER NOT SO LONG UPDATE

Another short recap....

Saturday, 18 December 2004

Met up with Hubby's buddies, which of course, she was there too. We met at Parkway Parade, walked around, did a little shopping and had our munch at McDonalds. Then hangout at my place till 11.00 p.m. Farihin and Farah wore The Incredibles' shirts, but unfortunately, didn't have the chance to snap Farah's picture. Well, at least I've snapped photo of Elastigirl and Dash!!

Sunday, 19 December 2004

Brought my kids to Lot 1 to meet up with Linda and BabyHD. Had our lunch there and did another round of little shopping.

The handsome brudders, Danial and Affandy waiting for their food....

And....Linda gave me this.....

BabyHD got one too.... I think she had her year-end bonus, hence bought us the gift. The rest of KO Gang....pergi buat baik dengan Linda, mana tau boleh dapat jugak!! Thank you KOnda!!!

Linda's dad picked us from Lot 1 and sent BabyHD home. Then the rest of us headed to Geylang to borong kain. Went to Linda's house to perform our Maghrib prayer and her dad sent me home. Thank you hor Apek..he he he....

Upon reaching home, Hubby asked if I want to go to Pasar Malam at Vista Point. I was exhausted and Afiqah was already asleep, so he went with Afrina and Affandy.

*****************************

Today, Linda's mum ask me if I want to join her to go Geylang again. Emmmmm....since I've already finished cook and clear the laundry, why not. The children would love to go out again. I asked for Hubby's permission and he said, "Wah, Ummi asyik jalan aje..." Ok apeeee.....

SUPER LONG UPDATE PART 2

Here's the continuation. I thought I could finished up yesterday, but Afiqah and Affandy caught running nose again and I was glued to them.

Lunch

Wow! I met up with TWO groups of bloggers. First, lunch gathering at Lyana's house. Blur Queen, Pinkie, Bulan, Zu, Mummy Jam and new friends, At and Sheema, were there. As usual, I was the quiet one (i think so) but still had fun and enjoyed their company. Listened to them talk about ghosts...gave me goosebumps.. *shudder*. Left with Blur Queen, and so sweet of her to wait up till I got a cab. Special thanks to Sweet Lyana for inviting me over and the lunch. Sambal Belacan POWER!!!! *slurps*

The Mommies Part 1

Dinner

Had dinner at Banquet Vista Point with Salha, Lizanoor and Muliati. Salha and Muliati brought their families along, while Lizanoor came alone..errr..with her baby in the tummy rather. We chatted and joked and laughed. Salha's dh was so friendly that he joined us in our conversation. And....I got 'bakal besan'!! My girls have been 'chop' by Salha and her dh for their two sons. *Macam gini anak-anak I dapat makan ikan free - bakal bapak mertua favourite pancing apeee. Ikan tongkol pun jadilah!!!*

Didn't realized that it was almost 9.30 p.m. Took some pictures before we headed home. Here there are.......

SUPER LONG UPDATE

I've been wanting to update but everytime I touched the PC, the 'pengacaus' always around. So here's the recap....

Thursday, 9 December 2004

MIL sent my girls back. Afrina, as usual would hug and kiss me immediately. But the other daughter of mine, Afiqah, hugged and kissed Affandy first and straight away went to study room to look for toys. She missed her toys more than me...can you believe that?? I just grabbed her and kissed her chubby cheeks.

But the sad thing was...when nenek was leaving, Afiqah wailed and cried as though she's been caned. She insisted and wanted to follow her nenek back again. I tried my very best to console her but she pushed me away. She was with her nenek for two days only, yet she forgot all about me. *sob sob* I just left her crying on the front door. After she calm down, I carried her and she was ok. *sigh*

Friday, 10 December 2004

I was pissed with someone. She is so disrespectful of me, even though I am older than her. I just don't understand. I am sure I have done nothing to offend her but her rudeness to me was intolerable. In this life, we have to respect others if we want to be respected. Well, since she chose her life to be pathetically impudent, she does not DESERVE my respect!

Saturday, 11 December 2004

Whole family went to Afrina's Madrasah to get her Progress Card. Alhamdullillah, she scored 'A' in all the subjects. Then went to Swensen's to get a birthday cake for my mum. Her birthday falls on 14 December but she was working so we celebrated in advance. After hubby sent us to her house, he left for work.

Happy 59th birthday Mak....

Sunday, 12 December 2004

Hubby's buddies came over to our house for gathering. Phantommomma and Lin came with their families too. Our hubbies went to the same Polytechnic, in fact Phantommomma also was from there. We really had fun and enjoyed each other companies. Unfortunately, missed the chance to take pictures of Phantommomma. Here are the pictures of the kids...

The ever instant best friends, kakak kecik and adik besar

Phantommomma's mamat and Lin's minah

Monday, 13 December 2004

Cleaned my house to sparkling clean. Went out with my group of friends from Cyberibu. We went to each others' house and mine was the last.

To be continued.......

Thursday, December 09, 2004

OK...update on yesterday's KO gathering.

I took a cab to Crown Prince Hotel and I reached there early infact about 6.20 p.m. So I just strolled along the area with Affandy. Met Linda and Aliyah later and we went in Swensen's to wait the the others to arrived. As I need to perform my Maghrib prayer, asked the girls' help to look after Affandy as he was sleeping. I met Ramblerine and Nizah *waves at Nizah* at the mosque. I think Affandy was angry with me as I left him with an unknown and a familiar stranger *grin at Aliyah and Linda*. He did not want to look up and just clinged to me. Ermmm..I wondered what have the girls done to him?

Sleeping on his stroller....
Don't even want to look at Ummi...
But just for a while. When his favourite food came, he was his usual self. The whole Swensen's could hear his voice.

The lady of the nite...Lizanoor, came while her fans took her pictures. Linda and me had to stand up to give way to her *wink at Lizanoor*. I keep the story short, we really had fun and we teased and joked with each other non-stop. And we took pictures of each other non-stop. The other patrons around us came and went, but we were still there. The best part was....the dinner was on Linda!!! *kiss Linda*. If I had known, I would order more and tapau for my hubby. *grin* Thank you Linda...

We dispersed after taking group photo. I really looking forward to meet the girls again. Hopefully this round we have the full KO strength. Wishing Th0ts, Hunny, Elmo and BabyHD were there yesterday. Till the next gathering.....

The boy on the stroller tak tau nak letak mana...

The recap....

Monday, 6 December 2004

I asked MIL's help to take care of my girls on Tuesday as I need to send Affandy for his 18-months injection on Wednesday. But she fetched my girls on Monday night. So I was 'daughter-less' for these few days.

Tuesday, 7 December 2004

Afrina called from her nenek's house saying she missed me already. Oh darling..I miss you too. But when I spoke to Afiqah, she said "Fiqah busyuk nenek, Fiqah nak nenek". Just one night she was with her nenek, and thrust aside me already! This cannot be man!!!

Since I was only with Affandy, I called up these two lovely ladies for lunch. Met Linda at her workplace and walked slowly to meet Lin at Fig & Olive.

This was the first time they both met. I took a cab all the way from Woodlands to town but it worth the trip. The food there was delicious and I had great company. With Affandy busy eating his fries, we had a good laugh while having our lunch. They brought me window shopping at Amara Shopping Centre. Took a cab back to home after that.

Wednesday, 8 December 2004

In the morning, hubby sent us to Polyclinic. I thought hubby would only stayed for a while but he was with me all the way. Good thing he was with me as Affandy is one tough and active kid. He couldn't sit still for a minute. But he didn't cry after receiving the jab. Nurse said he is still small and underweight. It's ok with me as long as he is healthy.

I will update again later. Met up with some of the KO Gang for dinner. Stay tune for more......

Happy Birthday my dear Friend. May Allah strengthen your faith, prolong your life, grant you wealth and bless you with good health. Love life, love yourself!!! *macam pernah nampak ucapan ni semalam eh*

Meanwhile, Affandy was trying to win Farah's attention....

After receiving her attention........

*Eksyen malu ke ni???!!!*

Friday, December 03, 2004

I was back on Wednesday actually. Our initial plan was to go to Melaka then drove up to KL. But...Hubby was really understanding as he knew I wanted to watch the Singapore Idol so much!!! So we came back on Wednesday, the day of the Final Showdown. And I got to vote for Taufik, countless times...AND HE WON!!!

Back to the kampong story...

Monday, 29 Nov 2004
We went out about 11 am and fetched my PILs at their house in JB. Had our lunch and we drove straight to kampong. The last time I was there when Affandy was about 3 months old. The place still looked the same.

Nenek (Hubby's maternal grandmother) still selling tidbits and they are so cheap. But of course, my kids got those for free. Bukan selalu jumpa cicit ape...

Tuesday, 30 Nov 2004
The weather was so hot and humid. We went to nearby supermarket and bought some groceries for Nenek. Went back to have lunch and just laze around till bedtime. *Boringnye....*

Wednesday, 1 Dec 2004
Go home time!! After hug hug, kiss kiss and cried a little bit...we on the way back home. Send my PILs back to their house, went to Xtra to get lots of DVDs and home sweet home. How I miss my bed!! Since we reached home about 3.30 pm, I did some housework and clear the laundries. Hubby went to Vista Point to get dinner and we watched the Singapore Idol together.

*Shucks* Beginning to get sick already. Guess I didn't rest enough. Gulp the flu medicine and went to sleep.

Thursday, 2 Dec 2004
My flu was getting worse. Hubby was still on leave so he wanted to bring the kids to Snow City. But I disagreed, so end up we brought the kids to watch 'Shark Tale' movie at Causeway Point. In fact, I was more excited cause it's been a long time since we watched movies. I remembered the last movie I watched was 'Independence Day' when I was 5 months pregnant with my first child. Wow...that was 6 years ago. Afiqah and Affandy slept halfway through while Afrina was really enjoying herself. Went back after the movie and rest.

Today
Feeling a little bit better now but got a slight headache. Hubby supposed to be on leave but got called from his office to report to work. **&^@^%#$$!!! He reluctantly went to work as they are short of manpower. Hubby found out that one of his friend applied urgent leave as he wanted to bring his daughter to watch 'Sesame Street'! What the *&^%$$!!!

SO I'm back to my standard routine. No more holidays for me. Piles of laundries to be washed, full basket of clothes to be ironed, floors waiting to be vacuumed and mopped, blah blah blah......

Friday, November 26, 2004

Yesterday, the whole family was watching the Singapore Idol Phenomenon. I was really excited and anxious to know who would be crowned as the first Singapore Idol. Hubby said that none of those two were his idols - anyway he seldom watch the talent show from the start. So he kind of not so interested. Let him watch Survivor and he could tell the whole story from A to Z!

Back to Singapore Idol. I can't wait for 1st December to watch the final showdown LIVE. Suddenly hubby reminded me....we will not be in Singapore to watch! *Shucks!!* Now I remember. From 29 Nov to 3 Dec, the whole family are going to "balik kampong". How to watch like that??? What a waste! How to vote for my favourite idol? Can he win without MY vote?? Would there be an encore telecast?

*Sigh*.....

If I don't update my blog this weekend, meaning I can only update next two week after my trip. Adios......

Thursday, November 25, 2004

A few days ago, I received a call from a lady from California Fitness Centre. "Congratulations, you have won a 2 weeks free membership at our centre from the contest on the magazine Singapore Women's Weekly. Please come down to collect your membership pass". I won again??? Wow....never expected to be so lucky.

So yesterday afternoon, get hubby to send me there though he was in the middle of working hours. But he went back to work at 10.00 p.m, so considered night shift. Me happily went to the counter and gave them the registration number that was given to me earlier. I was asked to filled up form and a fat malay guy sat down and interviewed me. Funny, this was an establish fitness centre, but I saw majority of their fitness consultants are fat, yes, with big bulging tummy.

This guy asked some questions related to my health, weight and my exercise program at home. Then he asked me this question, how often can you come down to our centre? Err...once a week maybe. He said, what a waste, you've won a 2 weeks membership and you can only come down once a week. So meaning you can only be with us two times. Oh...baru makcik tau.... I thought I could come any days I like for 14 days but I was wrong. I must make full use of the 2 weeks membership. Haiya...tipah tertipu!!!

Since I could not give my final answer to him, he gave his namecard and ask me to call him if I am ready for a 2 weeks work out. Lookin at hubby's reaction, macam gelap gitu harapan nak gym kat sini. Exerciselah sendiri kat rumah dengan budak-budak.

Or work out dengan hubby aje ke.....(Korang underage tak leh baca ni tau)

Wednesday, November 24, 2004

The thing that I dreaded most came last night. At about 9 p.m., someone rang the door bell. At that moment, my house was in complete chaos. As usual, toys were all over the floor, my kuihs and krepeks were almost empty, and worse, I was in my pyjamas. First door bell I thought it might be hubby as he always do that before opening the door with his own keys. Then after the second door bell, I heard a man gave salam. *Shucks* It was the voice of my neighbour who just live next door!! Since they just moved in, of course they don't have my phone number to call before come.

I quickly and firmly instructed my girls to pick up and keep all their toys while I dressed up. They kept pressing the door bell and gave salam. I got Afrina to shout from the door to ask them to wait for a while. And this Afrina shouted, "Tunggu kejap, Ummi lagi tukar baju and pakai tudung!!!" Eeeee budak ni, tak payah nak report lah. Just ask them to wait, tak boleh ke!

I just grabbed my pink baju kurung and put on. And where was my pink tudung? No time to find, I put on my white tudung. Not matching at all!! While I was dressing up, the door bell kept ringing. So I even did not put on any powder and lipstick like I always to do face my guests. This is not vain eh...I just love to look presentable. Then people would say, "Pandai isteri MrBeki menghias dan menjaga diri, cantik di pandang mata" Tak ke kembang hati suami ku nanti he he he...

While my kids entertained them, I filled up the kuihs and krepek. So embarrassing. I called hubby and insisted him to come home. He really came back for a while and left to work again after my neighbour went home. Phewwww....what a night!

Tuesday, November 23, 2004

We did go out on Sunday. We went to my sister's house at Jurong West, came home to sholat Maghrib, then visited a friend who just gave birth and she lives just a few blocks away from us. Then took our dinner at Banquet Vista Point.

I am still sick with this cough and running nose. Then with the "once-a-month-thing" came last night, makes me even more weak. With the never-ending house chores to be done. To be frank, my house only looked neat on the first few days of Hari Raya. If guests come unexpectedly now, I don't think they will want to step in. The toys are all over the floor and my coffee table is naked without the table cloth. Affandy just can't leave the table cloth alone. Everytime I put it nicely, he will pull the cover down. Is it fun to do that?

The head of the family and kids can't resist the temptation of the cookies and krepeks on the dining table. Yes, they help themselves. So, the poor Ummi has to top up everytime. So you can imagine how kelam kabut I would be if guests come unexpectedly.

Now I'm cracking my brain to think of menus for today. I've already took out "dunno-what-fish" from the freezer, can't think of any dishes to prepare. Kicap? Taucu? Sambal? Curry? I DON'T KNOW.............!!!!!!!!

Sunday, November 21, 2004

After the kids recovered from their flus, now it's mine and hubby's turn. I don't wish to talk at the moment as my throat is so sore. But I still want to eat all those krepeks, potato chips, cookies etc and of course, drinks with lots of ice.

Last Friday was Afrina's Graduation Concert. She participated in the concert dancing twist. I didn't realize that she was so vain until that day. She really enjoyed herself dancing and singing with her friends on the stage. And she was not shy at all. I did not manage to snap lots of photos as my camera's batteries were flat.

She was in the middle wearing orange shirt. Vain right??

Since we were already in West Coast, we thought of visiting some relatives in the west area. But none of them were at home. So we headed to Ikea and bought some "dunno what" things, and my new spice bottles included. Yippeee!!!!

We bought our dinner at Adam Road and on our way back, hubby received a call for him to report to work. What the *&^^%$!!! He was on leave for goodness sake. But knowing him, though he grumbled, he still went to work as he LOVES his job so much. I thought we would be back in a few hours time, but he came back on Saturday afternoon, just in time to fetch Afrina from her weekend class. Poor hubby...

While hubby slept in the afternoon, two of my relatives came to my house. I woke hubby up about 5 p.m, and we went to an aunt's place at Sembawang. Met some relatives there and Linda was one of them. They went to my place after that. I served them with my Very Spicy Fried Spaghetti which I prepared earlier. Linda gave me kids duit raya even though they have their share earlier. Best eh....if hari-hari jumpa, hari-hari dapat $$$$. No wonder my girls love her so much!!! But I don't mind. Who knows, if she has her own kid, anak-anak aku dia tak pandang. Itu part terror cepuk muka dia!!!! Kah kah kah!!!

Later about 9.30 p.m, Lin came with her family. I couldn't remember when was the last time we met. We really had a good laugh, especially when we were asking for each others' forgiveness. It was so funny and weird. Normally I would cry but not this time round. They went back about 11.00 p.m and we went straight to bed.

Don't know what's the plan for today. I told hubby if we intend to stay home, I will cook some dishes. But he said, up to me. So now....should we stay home, should we go out....stay home or go out....stay home or go out.....stay home or go out.....

Jangan marah hah mama budak ni, that day baru minta maaf kan kan kan???

Wednesday, November 17, 2004

I don't have the chance to touch the PC for the past week. It has been a very busy and hectic week for me. As I am typing this, all my three children are sleeping. All of them are having flu and cough at this moment. The medicines make them drowsy and hopefully they can recover soon.

Thank you for all your hari raya wishes for me. I'm sorry I don't have the chance to reply. Let me wish all of you from the bottom of my heart, Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri, Mohon Maaf Zahir Dan Batin....

For me, this hari raya was not as excited as before. I don't know why I felt this way. Ramadhan went so fast and I felt that I did not make full use of the blessed month. I let it go without doing enough.

I think this year is a revelation year for me. A few things happened had made me realized that life is UNPREDICTABLE. I thought I had less but I realized that there's others who has nothing yet never complained. I am really ashamed of myself. On hari raya's eve, I visited a relative who is not as fortunate as others. She has 5 children and she is not working. The sad thing about her life is that....her husband married another woman oversea. I knew he neglected his wife and children, yet she never spoke ill of him. According to her, she redha what her husband did to her. She did not want a divorce as she knew, it would break her children's heart. She put aside her feelings as long as he is happy. She gave her consent for his marriage as she did not want him to deepen his sins. I was really shocked to see the condition of her house. Her house is almost empty. People complained that they have no new curtains, not enough kuihs and cakes for raya, not enough new dresses and shoes and bags etc etc...she has nothing. Her children's hari raya clothes was being donated by a kind hearted relative. There's only a small rice cooker and a old washing machine in her kitchen. She does not have a fridge. Yet she did not complaint a bit. As an outsider like me, I would surely blamed her husband for doing this to her, but...she blamed herself. She said that she did not play her part enough as a wife, that is why he went astray. I was speechless. There is nothing I can do other than do my part as any fellow Muslim would do. My heart goes to her children. May she remain strong and calm. May Allah lead her husband to the right path and show him how his wife has sacrificed and suffered.

As years went by, I have different perception of hari raya. Hari Raya is the day for seeking forgiveness for the wrong doings that I have done to others. "Maaf Zahir dan Batin" is not just another words, it has deep meaning. Our sins to Allah, we can seek forgiveness, but our sins to other human...???

So I really meant it when I say, "Mohon Maaf Zahir Dan Batin, dari hujung rambut ke hujung kaki, di depan atau di belakang, antara sedar dan tidak, dunia dan akhirat".

Life is not as simple as it seems.

Life is so unpredictable.

One minute life can be great. The next minute life can be diminutive.

Life can be shattered with just one negative remark.

Even how hurtful life can be, life still have to go on.

Only HE decides what each's life should be.

And life got to find its own strength to carry through....

This is what we have done to our PLANS.

8.45 a.m - Hubby sent Afrina to class then Hubby went to JB isi minyak.

11.45 a.m - Hubby picked us up to fetch Afrina from school then we went to Phoon Huat to get the ingredients for the cookies and cakes.

(1st upset) - We did go to Phoon Huat. Hubby waited in the car with the kids while I went in alone. The place was so CROWDED!!!. The queue line to the cashier was already half of the shop. In order to get from one shelf to another, I had to walked passed the people queuing and also those who were still shopping. And worst, the shelves were almost empty and the staff were stacking the products with cartons and boxes lying around. Bad plan, should not go there on weekends. Especially when Hari Raya is just round the corner. So end up, I gave up. I left the shop buying NOTHING!!!

1.30 p.m - (2nd upset) Since no ingredients available, my plan to bake cookies cancelled.

(3rd upset) - Hubby slept all the way till almost 4.00 p.m!!!! His plan to clean the living room, hang the curtains and shift the furniture, all done in his dreams. As for me, after doing the laundry and folded the clean clothes, I just watched tv with my kids. I got Afiqah to wake hubby up. Lucky he woke up, if not.....*roll up sleeves*

5.00 p.m - Went to Causeway Point and bought new shoes for the girls. No time to scout for Affandy's shirt. I saw Barbie's skirts which were on sale and thought I want to buy those for my girls. But I changed my mind. Maybe some other time, if the skirts are still available. At 6.00 p.m, we went to Bazaar Raya Utara to get food for iftar. Another crowded place. After bought what we wanted, we went to McDonald's to get my favourite drinks - ICE MILO!! We reached home just in time for iftar.

Well, that's all the schedules for today. Not sure what are the plans for tomorrow. I'll just wait and see.....

This is our PLANS for today.

8.45 a.m - Hubby send Afrina to class then Hubby go to JB isi minyak.

11.45 a.m - Hubby pick us up to fetch Afrina from school then go to Phoon Huat to get the ingredients for the cookies and cakes.

1.30 p.m - Hubby wants to clean the living room, hang the curtains and SHIFT the furniture. If I don't help hubby, I'll start making the cookies.

4.30 p.m - Go to Causeway Point to get new shoes and dress/shirts for the kids and also to Bazar Utara to get food for iftar.

Like I said, this is our PLANS for today. Let's see if all the PLANS works. Just wait and see......

For the past 6 years, you were there when I need you most. You made my life easier and spiced up my life. I couldn't imagine life without you.

But now you're gone...you left me. It hurts me to see you leave. Life is incomplete without you. The room will never be the same again. But I accept the fact that we are not meant to be together anymore. I have to find your replacement....I just have to. It will make my life easier. I'm sorry...rest assured that you will be missed. Goodbye......

*wailing* spice rack aku dah pecah!!!!! Habis semua garam dan kunyit aku!!! *wailing again*

The above was a housewarming gift from her. Sorry friend, it's not my fault. Care to get me another one? *wink*

So it's confirmed that yesterday was my lazy day. But not that lazy to go to Bazar Utara at Causeway Point to buy these foods for iftar....

Since Afiqah was not around, so it was easier to handle two kids. As it was raining yesterday, I did not bring Affandy's stroller along. Now my arm is aching as I carried him most of the time.

So hopefully TODAY I will make the tahu goreng. And pizza also!!!!

This morning Hubby kept on warming up the oven even though the power tripped for a couple of times. We were advised by his cousin to keep on warming up the oven until no more power tripped. According to her, as we seldom use the oven, somehow moisture was trapped in the oven. We followed her advise and now YAHOOOOOO, eh salah, ALHAMDULILLAH!! At last I can have homemade pizza for iftar. I wonder how it will taste??

So now, where are all my recipes for the cookies and cakes?

Yesterday I visited all my bloggers website....majority of them change their layout. Rajin benar semua orang ni. I also feel like changing but...I can't let go of this existing one. I love this skin so much and PINK is my favourite colour. Maybe next time, if I have the time. Maybe the base colour will still be pink. Maybe I won't change. Maybe.....

By the way, my girls' ex-babysitter "borrowed" Afiqah today. She misses my girls so much. Too bad Afrina was not around and she is still schooling. Maybe in school holidays, she will take them both. I felt pity for her. She is lonely as all her three sons have grown up. The youngest is in Sec 4. The eldest will be getting married soon and she is a widower. She doesn't mind if I leave my kids with her if I have errands to do. But I feel that it's not right to bother her anymore. Maybe next time.... Maybe.....

Today for iftar, I planned to make tahu goreng. Already bought the tahu, only need to make the sauce. Me today very the lazy and very the selenge tau. I bought a packet of sauce which stated there, "Sambal Jenganan untuk Tahu Goreng". So being lazy, I thought just pour water and the sauce will be ready. But I read again, there's a small print said "Instant grounded peanut". Lah..... Ingatkan sauce instant, rupanya nak kena siapkan bahan-bahan lain. Ini cuma kacang tanah aje. Upset betollah!! So maybe I will prepare the sauce. Maybe I will just buy foods from Vista Point. Maybe...

Berapa banyak maybe dah.......
