SUPERWOMAN IS SUPER BUSY!

Coming to the end of the year, I am extremely busy. Besides the daily housework, I am preparing my two girls for school next year. Get ready their books, stationeries, alter their school uniforms, bags, shoes etc.

I can foresee that next year is going to be a very busy year for me. Afrina starts school at 8.30 to 11.30 a.m and her transport will pick her up at 7.30 a.m. While Afiqah starts at 11.30 a.m to 1.30 p.m which by 10.30 a.m she must get ready. I can't get them to be in the same session. So I have run up and down to send and fetch them. Lucky we arranged for bus transportation, if I were to send them myself....*sigh*

And I am proud to announce that Afiqah is fully toilet trained!!! Congratulations to me! Even though other kids might be fully trained earlier than her, Afiqah is almost 3 years old now, so its better late than never. The first week of training was not easy and I kept asking her every half an hour if she wanted to pee. She got irritated so she simply answer no. Then I changed my tactic, instead of asking, I told her if she felt like wanted to pee, please tell Ummi and we could run together to the toilet. And it worked!! I think to her it was more fun like that. So far she was also dry at night. Goodbye diapers, but of course, I have to standby training pants for her, just in case.

As I was waiting for Hubby to come home last night, I was asking myself if I should make any new resolutions for new year. I even could not remember what was my last year resolution. Well...I can only think of one, and I laughed at myself for it. I want to be a better cook, I mean, I want to improve my standard in the kitchen. Not just in cooking, but also in baking. I realized that I love to bake too, only time did not permit. I have loads of recipes which I collected and kept in the drawer. Starting from next year, it's tomorrow anyway, I want to try new recipes. I know I am not an excellent cook, but I want to try. No harm trying. Can I do it? InsyaAllah.......

The year 2004 brought so much sweet and bitter memories for me. I pray that 2005 will be a fulfilling year for me and hope I can be a better person. Goodbye 2004.....Here comes 2005!

Hubby set up a second-hand PC for the girls, and both were very excited about it. I have not installed any programme for them, but that didn't stop them from facing the PC. They make do with whatever proggrammes installed inside.

I know I'm itchy handed and fickle minded. I myself not really fond of the other template, even though I did it myself. I'm still searching for a new template. In the meantime, I just love this original template of mine. And for the record, this template was created by her. Her name is Spidey.......

Affandy fell from my bed yesterday night. I didn't see how he fell. I just heard a loud thud and he cried loudly. We were in my room but I was facing the other side of the bed. When I turned, I saw that he fell on his forehead. He had scratches and bruises on his forehead.

As Afiqah was with him on the bed, I ask Afiqah how he fell. Accordingly to this little chubby girl, her brother jump and jump and fell. Just like a few months back when he climbed onto the dining table and he jumped like some superheroes. Now you understand why my dining table is chairless. I guess boys will be boys...

I really had fantastic time yesterday. Linda's parents fetched me at about 5 p.m. Then they told me that they were going to pick Linda from her workplace. So, Linda joined us on our trip to Geylang.

My aunt brought me to a shop where we get some ornaments. Linda kept pestering us to hurry up as she was hungry! *Tak senang aku nak shopping!* I bought for my girls a jilbab and off we went to City Plaza for our dinner. We ate at a restaurant called Pelangi Biru, which Linda insisted to go there. Linda and I ordered Pattaya Fried Rice, which we regretted cause it's tasteless. End up we bought back the food.

Afiqah, as usual threw her tantrums anytime and anywhere she liked. Lucky I have my cousin and aunt around, if not, how could I handled her. We performed our Maghrib prayer at Darul Arqam and they sent me back home. I called hubby to meet us at our void deck and together we went to Pasar Malam. This was the fourth time I went. Just couldn't resist Pasar Malam. Die die must go!!

I was dead tired upon reaching home. Got the children and myself ready to bed and off to slumberland....

Oh yes, I've change my template. This will do for the time being. Or maybe I will change to my old one. Emmmmmm.......

Met up with Hubby's buddies, which of course, she was there too. We met at Parkway Parade, walked around, did a little shopping and had our munch at McDonalds. Then hangout at my place till 11.00 p.m. Farihin and Farah wore The Incredibles' shirts, but unfortunately, didn't have the chance to snap Farah's picture. Well, at least I've snapped photo of Elastigirl and Dash!!

Brought my kids to Lot 1 to meet up with Linda and BabyHD. Had our lunch there and did another round of little shopping.

BabyHD got one too.... I think she had her year-end bonus, hence bought us the gift. The rest of KO Gang....pergi buat baik dengan Linda, mana tau boleh dapat jugak!! Thank you KOnda!!!

Linda's dad picked us from Lot 1 and sent BabyHD home. Then the rest of us headed to Geylang to borong kain. Went to Linda's house to perform our Maghrib prayer and her dad sent me home. Thank you hor Apek..he he he....

Upon reaching home, Hubby asked if I want to go to Pasar Malam at Vista Point. I was exhausted and Afiqah was already asleep, so he went with Afrina and Affandy.

Today, Linda's mum ask me if I want to join her to go Geylang again. Emmmmm....since I've already finished cook and clear the laundry, why not. The children would love to go out again. I asked for Hubby's permission and he said, "Wah, Ummi asyik jalan aje..." Ok apeeee.....

Lunch

Wow! I met up with TWO groups of bloggers. First, lunch gathering at Lyana's house. Blur Queen, Pinkie, Bulan, Zu, Mummy Jam and new friends, At and Sheema, were there. As usual, I was the quiet one (i think so) but still had fun and enjoyed their company. Listened to them talk about ghosts...gave me goosebumps.. *shudder*. Left with Blur Queen, and so sweet of her to wait up till I got a cab. Special thanks to Sweet Lyana for inviting me over and the lunch. Sambal Belacan POWER!!!! *slurps*

Dinner

Had dinner at Banquet Vista Point with Salha, Lizanoor and Muliati. Salha and Muliati brought their families along, while Lizanoor came alone..errr..with her baby in the tummy rather. We chatted and joked and laughed. Salha's dh was so friendly that he joined us in our conversation. And....I got 'bakal besan'!! My girls have been 'chop' by Salha and her dh for their two sons. *Macam gini anak-anak I dapat makan ikan free - bakal bapak mertua favourite pancing apeee. Ikan tongkol pun jadilah!!!*

Didn't realized that it was almost 9.30 p.m. Took some pictures before we headed home. Here there are.......

MIL sent my girls back. Afrina, as usual would hug and kiss me immediately. But the other daughter of mine, Afiqah, hugged and kissed Affandy first and straight away went to study room to look for toys. She missed her toys more than me...can you believe that?? I just grabbed her and kissed her chubby cheeks.

But the sad thing was...when nenek was leaving, Afiqah wailed and cried as though she's been caned. She insisted and wanted to follow her nenek back again. I tried my very best to console her but she pushed me away. She was with her nenek for two days only, yet she forgot all about me. *sob sob* I just left her crying on the front door. After she calm down, I carried her and she was ok. *sigh*

I was pissed with someone. She is so disrespectful of me, even though I am older than her. I just don't understand. I am sure I have done nothing to offend her but her rudeness to me was intolerable. In this life, we have to respect others if we want to be respected. Well, since she chose her life to be pathetically impudent, she does not DESERVE my respect!

Whole family went to Afrina's Madrasah to get her Progress Card. Alhamdullillah, she scored 'A' in all the subjects. Then went to Swensen's to get a birthday cake for my mum. Her birthday falls on 14 December but she was working so we celebrated in advance. After hubby sent us to her house, he left for work.

Hubby's buddies came over to our house for gathering. Phantommomma and Lin came with their families too. Our hubbies went to the same Polytechnic, in fact Phantommomma also was from there. OK...update on yesterday's KO gathering.

I took a cab to Crown Prince Hotel and I reached there early infact about 6.20 p.m. So I just strolled along the area with Affandy. Met Linda and Aliyah later and we went in Swensen's to wait the the others to arrived. As I need to perform my Maghrib prayer, asked the girls' help to look after Affandy as he was sleeping. I met Ramblerine and Nizah *waves at Nizah* at the mosque. I think Affandy was angry with me as I left him with an unknown and a familiar stranger *grin at Aliyah and Linda*. He did not want to look up and just clinged to me. Ermmm..I wondered what have the girls done to him?

But just for a while. When his favourite food came, he was his usual self. The whole Swensen's could hear his voice.

The lady of the nite...Lizanoor, came while her fans took her pictures. Linda and me had to stand up to give way to her *wink at Lizanoor*. I keep the story short, we really had fun and we teased and joked with each other non-stop. And we took pictures of each other non-stop. The other patrons around us came and went, but we were still there. The best part was....the dinner was on Linda!!! *kiss Linda*. If I had known, I would order more and tapau for my hubby. *grin* Thank you Linda...

We dispersed after taking group photo. I really looking forward to meet the girls again. Hopefully this round we have the full KO strength. Wishing Th0ts, Hunny, Elmo and BabyHD were there yesterday. Till the next gathering.....

I asked MIL's help to take care of my girls on Tuesday as I need to send Affandy for his 18-months injection on Wednesday. But she fetched my girls on Monday night. So I was 'daughter-less' for these few days.

Afrina called from her nenek's house saying she missed me already. Oh darling..I miss you too. But when I spoke to Afiqah, she said "Fiqah busyuk nenek, Fiqah nak nenek". Just one night she was with her nenek, and thrust aside me already! This cannot be man!!!

Since I was only with Affandy, I called up these two lovely ladies for lunch. Met Linda at her workplace and walked slowly to meet Lin at Fig & Olive.

This was the first time they both met. I took a cab all the way from Woodlands to town but it worth the trip. The food there was delicious and I had great company. With Affandy busy eating his fries, we had a good laugh while having our lunch. They brought me window shopping at Amara Shopping Centre. Took a cab back to home after that.

In the morning, hubby sent us to Polyclinic. I thought hubby would only stayed for a while but he was with me all the way. Good thing he was with me as Affandy is one tough and active kid. He couldn't sit still for a minute. But he didn't cry after receiving the jab. Nurse said he is still small and underweight. It's ok with me as long as he is healthy.

I will update again later. Met up with some of the KO Gang for dinner. Stay tune for more......

I was back on Wednesday actually. Our initial plan was to go to Melaka then drove up to KL. But...Hubby was really understanding as he knew I wanted to watch the Singapore Idol so much!!! So we came back on Wednesday, the day of the Final Showdown. And I got to vote for Taufik, countless times...AND HE WON!!!

We went out about 11 am and fetched my PILs at their house in JB. Had our lunch and we drove straight to kampong. The last time I was there when Affandy was about 3 months old. The place still looked the same.

Nenek (Hubby's maternal grandmother) still selling tidbits and they are so cheap. But of course, my kids got those for free. Bukan selalu jumpa cicit ape...

The weather was so hot and humid. We went to nearby supermarket and bought some groceries for Nenek. Went back to have lunch and just laze around till bedtime. *Boringnye....*

Wednesday, 1 Dec 2004
Go home time!! After hug hug, kiss kiss and cried a little bit...we on the way back home. Send my PILs back to their house, went to Xtra to get lots of DVDs and home sweet home. How I miss my bed!! Since we reached home about 3.30 pm, I did some housework and clear the laundries. Hubby went to Vista Point to get dinner and we watched the Singapore Idol together.

*Shucks* Beginning to get sick already. Guess I didn't rest enough. Gulp the flu medicine and went to sleep.

My flu was getting worse. Hubby was still on leave so he wanted to bring the kids to Snow City. But I disagreed, so end up we brought the kids to watch 'Shark Tale' movie at Causeway Point. In fact, I was more excited cause it's been a long time since we watched movies. I remembered the last movie I watched was 'Independence Day' when I was 5 months pregnant with my first child. Wow...that was 6 years ago. Afiqah and Affandy slept halfway through while Afrina was really enjoying herself. Went back after the movie and rest.

Today
Feeling a little bit better now but got a slight headache. Hubby supposed to be on leave but got called from his office to report to work. **&^@^%#$$!!! He reluctantly went to work as they are short of manpower. Hubby found out that one of his friend applied urgent leave as he wanted to bring his daughter to watch 'Sesame Street'! What the *&^%$$!!!

SO I'm back to my standard routine. No more holidays for me. Piles of laundries to be washed, full basket of clothes to be ironed, floors waiting to be vacuumed and mopped, blah blah blah......
